Nice view of light and sound show. Friendly staff, offered us alcohol which isn't on the menu, we declined. Service was good, food nice enough. Seemed quite quiet, so lacked a bit of atmosphere. The view: The view is ok. Depending on where you manage to sit, you might be able to see the Sphinx and the pyramids immediately to the west of it, but not the Great Pyramid, which is obscured by neighboring structures. There are probably better roof terrace views nearby. The hotel next door (a few doors to the left) seemed to have a less impeded view. Ambiance: The cafe plays loud Arabic music all day it seems, and by loud I mean night club levels. This can be annoying depending on your disposition. Otherwise, the place is clean and well maintained. Price: Expect to pay about £65 for a cappuccino. Obviously exorbitant. Service: In our experience, the staff were mostly pleasant except for one, who sadly seemed to be in charge. This young lady told us the upstairs area was unavailable (untrue, we later discovered). We can only presume from her blazé manner that she did this because she was too lazy to walk up there. She also told us she had no change. Obviously untrue. The change we required was only £25. We can only presume this was an attempt to over-charge us and pocket the change herself.

Okay, the area is not very representative, but still okay if you know how to protect yourself from the mass of offers (buying things). The restaurant itself has partly a nice view, which depends on the table you are able to take. Some tables offering you only the view on some buildings of the nighbourhood and the top of the pyramids. the food is everage, but the prices as if you are in a 5 * hotel (quality and price do not fit at all). If you think that you may watch the light show from there: Forget it, too noisy and the view is not good enough. Expect weedings on the roofs around with extreme loud music (and most probably not your musik taste) and with people gunshooting in the sky (which is nortmally forbidden, but they do it there, police is not interfering). I will not go there again....

View is nice, service bad and food is absolutely terrible. We had 4 cold, tasteless pizza's which had no taste at all. Wouldn't recommend. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person E£200–300
