I cannot say enough about this amazing, old school bakery. The angelfood cakes, the apple pastry, the caramel pecan coffee cake are just the best! When I was growing up, my birthday cakes weren’t fondant; they were hand-drawn with icing. I live 1.5 hours from this bakery, but when I saw the hand-drawn cake pictures, I knew I had to order a cake from here. She has met, if not exceeded my expectations! The cake was absolutely amazing! Not to mention, it was delicious!!! Everyone at the party raved about how cool the cake looked, then we cut into it; & everyone raved about how tasty it was! I am beyond satisfied. She was very pleasant to work with; responded to my e-mails promptly & professionally. While pulling out of the parking lot with the cake, something fell on the cake! (it ended up being ok!) but they were ready with tools in hand, to fix it! I would recommend any family & friends to them, & I will be a returning customer!

It was our first time in Quincy and it happened to be on my birthday, my husband knows how I love to buy from a local bakery and he ordered my cake from Underbrinks. The German chocolate cake which is my favorite was delicious, cake was moist and frosting was great. I also love the floral decorations on it, made my birthday extra special. I definitely recommend this bakery.

THE best cheesecake I've ever had anywhere. A+. It made the cheesecake factory (which I tried the day after I had the plain NY style cheesecake from Underbrinks) taste like the cheap, flour-filled yuck that it is. The people at this bakery were also super nice. I also got a red velvet cupcake which, to be fair, although delicious, was not the best I ever had. A-. The cake itself was perfect but the buttercream frosting was not the right choice. Reasonable folks may disagree, but red velvet should always be accompanied by a cream cheese frosting, in my humble opinion, as the buttercream was overpowering for the cake. I'll be going back here for sure to try everything else. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

1st time here and purchased a couple bakery pastries to go. Well an hour later I ate one of the almond bars and was like oh my God. I'm just saying if I would have tried it when I walked outside I would have turned around and went right back in and bought their entire tray if these. Absolutely delicious.

What a fantastic little bakery! We stopped in for some breakfast for ourselves and to bring in for the team. We had to try a bite of the hot coffee cake before we left, we ended up eating the entire thing out of the back of the car in the rain. Needless to say, it was great! Super friendly and helpful staff. This will definitely be a “must have” on every trip back to town!
