The new menu was absolutely fantastic. We had the oysters, Rockefeller, the fish and chips, and the Sebastian mixed plate, and they all were absolutely fantastic. It was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. Vernon and Mandy did a great job and the owner Tommie came out and checked on us too. Highly, highly recommend this place. The new updated Uncle's was very nice. The food was tasty. There were 4 of us and everyone ordered something different. It was all good. Our server was attentive. My only negative was that the music was loud and really didn't fit the theme of the restaurant. Otherwise, we all liked it very much. We used to meet here with extended family, and the food was great. After not coming in awhile we returned recently. Sadly, the menu has changed a lot. I feel like the food is entirely too salty and too heavy with little options otherwise. Even the cold macaroni salad had too much salt. I had to drink four glasses of water to get through dinner. I ordered the Brussels sprouts app, which would have been great, but it was smothered in sauces. I just had my leftovers today and was immediately reminded of the salt content. Has potential, but the flavors have to have a chance. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
