This past Sunday I was with my friend and we stopped in to uncle Ben’s for some beer. Lynda was there working. As soon as we walked in the door she started shouting about how people only tip a dollar and something about food. I was embarrassed I asked if she was talking about my friend or myself she said no but clearly it was definitely about us. She would not serve us but one beer and hang out at the other end of the bar. Not even to come over and check on us or see if we wanted anything else. The awesome night bartender came in and gave us another round and shook my hand to say hi. Nice to meet you this was after all my second time in this place. I was truly in shock about Lynda’s behavior.

This bar is a must from the bartender all the way down to the cheers feel. We stopped in to grab a drink and stay for much longer then expected. The customers and bartenders were almost like family as soon as you walked in it felt like home. Smaller bar in the stockade around the corner from the bowling alley.
Drinks were amazing. Highly highly recommend if you want to feel at home and laugh with a few new people, and a couple of people we knew! Take a walk to Uncle Ben’s and sit back and enjoy.
