All around amazing experience at the Twisted Olive. Veronica and Zahir are both amazing and attentive servers that enhance the customer experience. The drinks are great and the food is incredible. The French onion soup dumplings are probably one of the best appetizers we’ve ever had. We will definitely be back soon! The food’s straightforward and tasty. Even though the food has plenty of fat, nothing felt greasy. I haven’t had anything bad from this place. The decor’s spacious and classy. I just wish they had a vegetable sandwich as the menu’s dominated by meat. Contrary to popular belief, people who love vegetables usually don’t want a salad or a bean burger. Great food and outstanding service! A gem in Bethlehem. Food was very tasty and octopus was incredibly delicious. Our waitress Arielle was awesome, and explained dishes very well. TLDR: server was hostile and extremely slow, food was fine but confusing. Food was nothing special, I could walk into any of the competing restaurants in the area and get a comparable meal anywhere else in this town. I got the pork belly salad and let me say I’m still confused. I have never had a salad served on a tiny flat plate. The lettuce was not cut and the tiny plate had no room cut the ingredients. The pork belly was supposed to be crisp yet it was not. I was giving a skinned half tomato that looked grilled yet was ice cold and a pile of raw onions tucked into the corner. They should have called these lettuce wraps for how it was served. The French onion soup was fine but it had wayyyyy too much rosemary and tased like drinking potpourri On to the service. Our sever felt extremely hostile, felt like that soup man from Seinfeld. Never did a touchback nor did we learn her name until we got the check. Further more, I watched almost every single waitstaff in the restaurant stick their fingers into the garnish bins for the cocktails. It would be one thing if it was just the bartenders that was touching things but watching wait staff handle cash, credit cards, orders, dirty dishes, then turn around and manhandle the straws and garnishes put such a bad taste in my mouth. Glad I saw this before I even received a drink menue. On to the ambiance: the space was tight, it honestly felt like we were on a double date with the table next to us. Then someone near us ordered the stake on the stone and proceeded to smoking the restaurant ruining the ambiance in the process. I will say it looks like an interesting experience but his wife was almost done eating by the time his stake was cooked enough to eat. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Long time patron and always have been a fan but our visit tonight was sub par and frustrating across the board. Our waiter is absolutely in the wrong role in a restaurant. He asked if we wanted dessert while walking to the bathroom. We waited 45 minutes for a bill. First time ever we’ve had a fatty filet also. Maybe visit the table once or twice during our meal too. I’m just disgusted that this is where one of my all time favorite places is at. If I want a steak now, I’m going to Oak in Easton.
