New England sucks and New Hampshire most certainly sucks but Twins Smoke Shop is one of the few shining lights of decadence with its superb selection of pipe tobacco and a permissible selection of Islay scotch at the bar on the second floor. Bricks of C&D Folklore just sitting on the shelf. Coils of Black and Brown Irish X rope. Five-pound bags of Peter Stokkebye. A decent selection of briar pipes, long and short. (It’s either this or you gotta drive to and endure the traffic jam that is Boston to reach L.J. or that place in Harvard.) Sweeten this with the fact that you can savor both spirits and pipe leaf, or a stick from their formidable cigar collection, on the deck outside the bar, or in the barroom, or on a pleather recliner in the lounge. Taste a little pain.
This place is fantastic. If you are a pipe smoker and want to find a great selection that you can see and feel before you buy make the trip today. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, huge selection of pipe tobacco, and lots of pipes to choose from. Yeah they do the cigar thing too if you're into that. I am no cigar expert, but it appears to be thousands of them in all shapes and sizes. If you are looking for "cheap cigarettes " look elsewhere. Twins is for real people of the leaf.
Great place love the cigar selection but the real highlight is the bar upstairs with subsequent patio would definitely recommend. only downside they don't also sell cigarettes my friend was with me and I talked him into stopping so I could get cigars and he was like sweet I could use a few packs needless to say he left without. Next time I'm in the area will definitely be stopping by again
There are a few great cigar spots in New Hampshire but Twins might be the best of the best. An expertly curated cigar selection in their downstairs shop and and exquisitely curated liquor collection upstairs in the bar including the best bourbon and tequila selections in the state. This place is a must visit.
Visited on November 20th with my son. We were helped by Pat downstairs before heading upstairs. Pat was very knowledgeable and helpful. We headed upstairs where it was packed. Eventually, we got seats at the bar. The bartenders were working very hard to keep customers happy. Bri is such a great bartender because she works hard and is always smiling. Their were other employees helping out and it was like a well oiled machine. Definitely a place worth visiting often.
Great selection, humidor is very well stocked. Friendly staff and helpful if you're looking for suggestions. Had a smoke up in the lounge and chatted with some of the regulars. Awesome atmosphere, I'll definitely stop by again next time I'm in New Hampshire. As a cigar lover from Canada I really appreciate the zero tax on tobacco in NH. Keep up the good work.
