Twiga is a lovely, independent brewery found in AIM Mall. I went there with a couple of friends on a weekday evening and loved it there. We had a glimpse of the large brewing towers but couldn't get a tour as it was pretty late. I tried the Twiga Stout and Twiga Ale, both of which were quite interesting. I'll definitely go there again.

This was our favorite place to go in Arusha, Tanzania. Damian, the Brew Master, gave us a personal tour of the brewery. We enjoyed it so much we visited a couple of times. It is near the Arusha airport so it is a great place to stop on the way to/from your safari flight.

It was hard to know if it was open, or where it was. We tried to call ahead for clarification, but there was no answer.. we decided to try anyway. Lights were off, but don't be discouraged. It's located in the mall foodcourt. You can sit anywhere; someone will bring your order to you. Just 2 beers on tap right now, but they let us sample before ordering, and food (and drinks) can be ordered from nearby restaurants.

Love this bar ! Not the perfect location (in a mall but with a terrasse) but this is great that there is a bar/brewery like this here... Without it , the mall would be a bit boring :)

What an excellent stop! After some beautiful and dusty safari days in the bush, we have truly enjoyed the freshly tapped Twiga Beer and the brewery tour. Since almost every Safari Car is passing the AIM Shopping Mall, where the Twiga Brewpub is located, on the way to/from Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Nationalpark, we can highly recommend stopping there and support this local but professional craft brewery.

The taste of beer is excellent but there is no way to bring back empty bottles bought from supermarket shoppers
