Male barista spit in drinks, owner refused to watch camera. Empty promises of refunds. Edit to add: I was a daily regular for about two years before this guy started working there, a coffee drinker in general, and a former barista. I think I would know whether or not someone did something to my drink and as you can see by other reviews he is rude to other people as well for no reason. I have spent way too much money and did not get an ounce of respect or consideration back. Still awaiting two refunds! Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10
I am so happy to have this gem of a local shop in my neighborhood! It's a highlight that it's walkable for sure. Delicious coffee, wonderful fresh baked bread and pastries, including DF, GF and vegan options. The quality is always amazing, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff. I look forward to every visit. A local favorite, and lots of compliments from my coffee lover friends and family from out of town as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Got the iced mocha and while it was not overly sweet like others, it was still good coffee. The lemon cake was pretty amazing. Great local place for an out of towner like myself. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Picture the fanciest, ritziest, trendiest, most upscale coffee shop ever… 20Below is not that. It’s BETTER. I’ve been frequenting coffee shops since I was in high school but 20Below is by far my favorite. I’ll start with the coffee, because that is what you’re probably here for. They roast their own beans and I thoroughly enjoy their espresso. If you’re sensitive to caffeine (like me) I usually do half-caf and it doesn’t get me jittery. They make some syrups in house. My favorite thing to order is the caramel latte because it is so smooth!! I often come around breakfast to get a yummy toast or pastry! Everything (and I mean everything) is delicious. I could literally spin around and point to something in the case and be wowed. Maybe I’ll try that next time actually… But some other things that are important to honor about 20Below, their staff is friendly, welcoming, and conversational. You don’t get the feeling that they’re in a rush to serve the next customer or that you’re just money to them. The environment in the shop is homey, bustling, and lively. They use a lot of local materials in their design. I remember they were asking for chairs before they opened the new shop and people brought in their old dining room chairs. It creates a fun vibe in there. You should go to 20Below. You won’t regret it. If you go when it is actually 20° (or more) below 0°F, they give you a free drink for next time. Kind of a fun challenge if you ask me :) Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sausage Egg and Schmear Breakfast Sandwich

20 Below is a great coffee shop! I am a student at MSUM, and my friends and I go there to study all the time. They also have fun events like a study night with homemade pizza and recently starting selling alcohol. My go-to order is a Nutella mocha and the Winnie the Pooh Toast (but the besto pesto is a close second). The staff is also always friendly, and they make it a point to remember you. Like, my boyfriend is in a “book club” (it’s just him and one - occasionally two or three - of their friends reading) and when the group comes in the staff remembers their names and always asks what they’re reading 🫶 Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely love supporting local coffee shops! A chain coffee shop might get your food/drink in 30 seconds or less, but nothing beats the friendly faces of the baristas who work at the Moorhead location and the delicious beverages. I order ahead with the app so time is rarely an issue! My go-to is the Fancy Ham and Cheese, but their seasonal cranberry cake is delicious! I also love the Black Salted Caramel latte, cold or hot, and wish they would make it a year-round flavor. Great service, great food, great coffee! 20 Below Moorhead is one of my favorite coffee shops in town! No matter how busy it is, the staff always are so kind and personable! The atmosphere is cozy, the coffee is delicious, and the kids play area is a much needed space for moms with littles! Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
