Visited on a Sunday night. Tried a few things on the menu as the drinks poured.
Wait time was pretty short even though the restaurant/bar was full. Prices are quoted in USD but still pretty reasonable. A lot of parking area as there are many other restaurant/bar to choose from in this area. Ambience is great with several seating styles to choose from (bar, indoors or outdoors).
Bartender was sharp and keeps checking in.

My husband and I went to this restaurant last Friday for dinner. It was recommended by the owner of another sister restaurant which is fantastic so we thought the Turtle Time spot will be equally great. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We were greeted and seated by a very friendly manager who was nice and accommodating. Upon asking for recommendations, he suggested to order the fresh catch of the day. So I went ahead and ordered a grilled snapper while my husband ordered an Asian lobster. Along with the main entrees, we also had a couple of appetizers and a couple of drinks each. The drinks were great (especially his cocojito, I highly recommend it. My husband said it was the best cocktail he's had on the island so far) and appetizers also didn't disappoint. After finishing our drinks, we continued waiting for the main courses and it took them over an hour to prepare. The manager even came by to apologize for the delay saying because the fish I ordered was so fresh and big, it was taking them longer to prepare it. Ok, fine, we proceed to wait patiently. Then, our main courses arrive and indeed my fish was HUGE and looked great on the surface. However once I tried it, I was DISGUSTED as that fish was not FRESH at all. It was covered with so much spice which I suspect was meant to cover up the foul smell and that it was frozen (not fresh). On top of that, it was also raw in the middle. To reconfirm, I let my husband try it and he agreed that the fish wasn't fresh and undercooked. I could not continue eating it. I suspect it was frozen and that's why it took so long for them to prepare it. Fresh fish doesn't take that long to prepare and there's no need to over-spice it (I know it because I used to fish myself and know how fresh fish tastes like). So we called the manager and let him know how we felt. He was nice about it and asked if we want him to grill it again and wrap it up for us. No thanks was our answer. He gave us a 10% discount but still charged us for the fish. We felt we got cheated and were very disappointed. We should not have been charged for the fish. That was our only food order in Nevis that was bad (once we returned home, my husband found a review from a previous customer stating the same experience about a fish).
Wonderful food - excellent fish and plenty of options for this that do not like fish. Lovely friendly staff, great drinks.

This is a great spot for chilling or if you decide to have lunch or dinner. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The service is good overall. I gave a 3 because the food is inconsistent. I went here on a thursday and the food was great, so much so that when i went back to Nevis on sunday i looked forward to eating here again however i was disappointed. When i got the food and took my first sip of the seafiod chowder it did not taste the same as the last time i had it. The chowder was very fresh and the fish in the chowder tasted as if it were stale. I was very disppointed and didnt finish the food. My friend went ahead and ordered the conch fritters and it was VERY salty. I would give them another try but i was very disappointed.
Do yourself a favor and take the 10 extra steps from Sunshine and come here! Food is outstanding, drinks are great, service was excellent. Sunshine is overated! We had a party of 6 and came for lunch. Everything we had was so good! Highly recommend! What a cool spot!

International Food Critic Diana Krause stopped by the Turtle after a hot morning trying to pick up a boyfriend on the Four Seasons beach. Being turned down repeatedly really works up her appetite. The turtle menu was large and consisted of an eclectic list of dishes from Asian to Mexican. Diana has the Fish sandwich which was "just ok". The service was so slow, Diana missed her water Taxi ride back to St. Kitts even after the taxi driver drove "like a bat out of Hell" to get her to the docks in time.

So.... I had the pleasure of dining at Turtle Time Bar and Grill twice, while in Nevis. Each time I went, I really enjoyed the food. Conch fritters, vegetable spring rools, their variation of Bang Bang Shrimp and Beef and Broccoli in Black Bean Sauce. Delish! The drinks were also on point. They offered 2 ttpes of Llewellyn's hot sauce. One of them was OMG hot but quite flavorful. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance, the food and the staff. So, if you're ever on the island, check them out.
Great Killer Bee's. Very friendly barkeep and quick. The open air bar is nice. Drinks served in plastic so you take it to the beach. Easy access and ample parking nearby.
