What a great place to go and have a meal. The staff is so friendly. Started out with the hush puppies, they are awesome. Got a bloody Mary, those also really good. Order the pork belly sliders and the bang bang chicken. Bang bang chicken was really really good. The pork sliders I would say were average. I still give this place a 4.5 if I could. It was my first time eating here. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. It was like I was family coming over for dinner. I got the bang bang shrimp poor boy. It was delicious. The flavor was excellent. It was spotless inside and out. Will definitely eat here again soon. I encourage you to give them a try if you love good seafood and want a down home experience. 5 stars! Hush puppy appetizers were different but very tasty. Granddaughters had the cheeseburger sliders and fried shrimp and cleaned their plates. The catch of the day was yellowfin tuna, very tasty. My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals there on Saturday. Those fried shrimp were our favorite but everything was delicious. The only thing better than the food was the service. Tubb's is one of Florence SC hidden gems. The restaurant looks like your ordinary mom and pop diner from the outside but once you get in you noticed the subtle differences that make it that a more. They offered great seafood with options for those who don't eat seafood as well. They have a nice bar set up outside the main restaurant sort of like a hut design. My lovely wife and I had some business in the Florence area Since it was near lunch time we decided to try Tubb's Shrimp and Fish Co. I read a review of this place and wanted to give it a try. It was a little out of the way. But we found out it was worth it. As soon as we walked in we were great by an excellent waiter. He was very friendly & professional. He took our drink orders also took our appetizer order too ( we got fried green tomatoes) They were the best I ever had. If the appetizers was this good now I’m excited about the rest of lunch. My lovely wife order seafood platter. She said it was delicious and it was so much she took half home (sorry no picture). I ordered the Blackened Flounder w/fries and hush puppies. The flounder was plentiful and very tasty. I also took a couple of pieces home. I just want to say we are from the beach and have eaten our share of fine seafood dining. Tubs is right up there with the best. Would never figure a little restaurant in Florence would have tasty fish like this. I give a A++ to food, service, and prices. This establishment is knock your socks off good! We stopped in route from Florida to Pennsylvania. It’s very convenient to 95. Found through their reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Real cute setup with the restaurant and porch sections. Really sweet and helpful waitress. Though I can’t remember her name (sorry) she was from Wilkes Barre PA. Nice to run into another Pennsylvanian. We ordered the three dishes pictured. Crab cake dinner with Brussel sprouts and corn, fried shrimp corn and fries as well as the pick two flounder and crab cake with corn and fries. The crab cakes were just delicious. The corn was deadly good as was truly everything else. This is the type of place where it seems you can’t go wrong. We might need to plan a road trip just based on this destination. Will be back!
