I ordered lunch delivery via DoorDash. The Thai Chicken Chicken Salad had rotten cilantro and slimy rotten carrots, which brought doubt regarding the safety of the other elements of the salad. I don’t post a negative review about a restaurant, but serving rotten food is totally unacceptable. This place better clean up their act before someone gets sick or worse. Absolutely thrilled to find a Tropical Smoothie Cafe while visiting home. Everyone was very nice, the cafe was clean, vibrant with bright colors, and the service was very good. And to my surprise, they have a drive thru. 🙌🏼. Love the setup. They had more seating in the back. Very cute & cozy spot. Drinks & food were made perfectly.

The service is always top notch. I had a great experience with Andrea this morning who accommodated all my special request. I highly recommend this location for its great staff and great service. This is such a gem on James Island. Among the endless sea of pizza joints, Mexican restaurants and all the unhealthy drive thru options it great to have a healthy option to grab something fast with the kids. There were very few customers and the drive through took us over a half hour to get to window...then we waited longer. Look at their card reader carefully as it can easily add in a tip. I didn't plan to tip after having waited over a half hour. Smoothies were average, but not worth the wait. Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 1

Third time I order online and get to place to pick up and of course lobby is closed and you have to stay on drive through line while they take orders, prepare meals and so on. What’s the point of online order if you can’t pick up? Service Take out Meal type Breakfast

They randomly decide to shut down to "drive-thru only," which means if you live within walking distance, you have to walk back home and get in your car and waste gas, which means they lose all their local business b/c who would do that. It also means that they are not a local-friendly business - local-hostile is how I'd label them. Treat them as such and find your smoothies elsewhere

Received this banana in my pick up order today. Why would y'all give me this? It's really gross, rotted and moldy. Makes me concerned how much of the fruit back there looks like this. It makes me wonder they are willing to give me this rotten fruit in my order what types of rotted food is going into their smoothies

Unacceptable how today for free smoothie day went. Manager was rude and abhorrent to customers. I waited 50 mins and it was a online order that was put on a back burner to the orders taken at counter. I never got my order! I want a refund and for the franchise owner to please call me. I am appalled that this locations service and management.

Need more employees!!!!! I waited more than an hour for my food and smoothies while watching everyone else who ordered after me getting their food and leaving. Another lady had the same problem and she was losing it! I felt bad for the employees because there were only two of them having to prepare food and smoothies for not only who was inside, but for those outside. I read the reviews here and the owner keeps apologizing, but never really change the situation. For me he is the one to be blamed because he needs more people working there. I guess he just doesn’t pay them enough or doesn’t wanna pay more people to work there?! Who knows!!!
