We had an excellent julebord dinner in this charming restaurant. I highly recommend this place for large groups (25-30 people). The food was delicious, service was good and the whole booking process was very smooth. Overall I'd say it's excellent value for money. As a group we particularly appreciated the space given to us, for no extra cost, which was a little isolated from the rest of the restaurant. What an incredible place! If we have the chance to visit Trondheim again in this lifetime, we will certainly return, and this time, we'll opt for the 5-course meal. The food was exquisite, beautifully presented, and the staff was incredibly friendly. As a vegetarian, I had no issues at all – they crafted some truly remarkable dishes for me. Very nice old wooden house by the harbour, with a great view towards the old colourful buildings by the harbour. Service was nothing to complain about, although it was clearly visible that some of the waitresses were more tired than others, but overall great service:)) we had the daily menu with 5 courses, and were very happy with the amount (not too much unlike others places, meaning we had space for all the foods, leaving no leftovers), which reflects the price quite well. Definitely could taste the Nordic tastes, would recommend very much 🥰👍❤️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

-Nice location -Food looks nice from outside, but the taste is so so. We took the 5 courses menu: the two starters didn't have any real taste, very bland 4/10. The two main courses were good, but not special 7/10. The dessert (a cheesecake) was not special either 6/10. Price for 5 course meal was 599 kr. -Service was so so, also if they said it was because someone was sick, but also it is important they get maybe a person that substitute the sick one? We timed the waiting between the courses, and between two - we waited 40 minutes. For 5 courses meal we were there 3 hours. Quality food. Not authentic Norwegian food, more like a fusion. 3 course menu and 5 course menu available (400 and 500 nok or something for each) Additional wine for 5 course and 3 course available, that was actually same price as the menu! Which was bit surprising. Friendly staff. Online Reservation is possible. For 2 I spend around 250 euro which is very expensive compared to Germany.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially not if I wanna impress people. The google ratings are perhaps overrated. Dined in alone, service was great, the food was served at a reasonable pace. Ordered the three course meal which consists of 1) pork dish appetiser 2) fish main course 3) chocolate brownie dessert. All of the savoury dishes, I repeat, ALL of them, were underwhelming and over seasoned. There was no “wow” factor to the dishes at all. Sauces seemed to be off the shelf and do not match with the dish. Rather than restaurant quality, food was more like a diner quality with a restaurant pricing. Thought redeeming quality would be its desserts but I was left disappointed. I was staying at Radisson Blu hotel and its breakfast brownie is at least ten times fudgier and chocolates tasted of a higher quality. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 600–700
