When we are too lazy to make breakfast , we walk over from our guesthouse and they have the most amazing breakfast sandwiches on their homemade Trapp English muffin. What a shame. The bakery used to be a real gem. Clean, professional, freshly and expertly prepared baked goods. It was a joy to watch the bakers, in their professional uniforms, perform efficiently and cleanly. Now the cases are dirty, half empty, and products are missing the high quality finish they were once so known for. They are now focused on quantity over quality. There appears to be no pride in the product, the service, or the history and heritage of the location. So sad. Came here for breakfast and had a coffee and a bacon sandwich, both were very good, bonus an overwhelming selection of pastries and a pastoral view.
