Enjoyed a terrific meal here last evening. The service was excellent, attentive and helpful. The cozy atmosphere was perfect for the chilly windy nite. My husband and I both enjoyed evening specials. Haddock /scallops and I had chick/eggplant parm. Both were perfectly prepared with generous portions size. Highly recommend and we will return! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
So yea, tonight I ordered seafood chowder and received clam chowder in a plastic to go container which is not industry standard for serving a higher temperature food. Any reputable restaurant would serve hot soup in a cardboard insulated to go container. We also ordered a Caesar salad which is served here with mozzarella, provolone cheese, and whole leaf romaine which is a first for me. Anyone who’s high school age or older older knows Caesar salad is served with parm, croutons, caesar dressing and chopped romaine. Amateur hour Italian foodies come and get it. Awesome place, cozy, very inexpensive. Great Italian food dishes and a good drink selection. The fresh bread at the start of the meal was awesome. I had the lasagna with meatballs and had no complaints. My wife got a special and she said it was awesome. The service was great as well. I'll be adding this to a list of stops while I'm in Maine, that's for sure! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
Food was just okay - nothing to write home about especially at those prices. The staff there were pretty unprofessional. Bartender/Waiter picking his teeth in front of a mirror in the dining room. Waitress in booty shorts. I would have gotten a more professional dining experience at Applebees. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
OMG the absolute best veal parm and baked ziti we’ve ever had! We’d eat there every night if we could. Prices are more than reasonable. $14.50 for ziti $23.50 for veal parm. They make their own bread which is awesome. We even brought a couple loafs home with us it was that awesome! The portions are huge so expect a doggie bag in return. I wish I could remember our waitress’s name and give her a good write up. She was a top of the line waitress/hostess from the minute we walked in the door until we walked out. It’s a small restaurant with about 10 booths of four and very cozy. Don’t go anywhere else for dinner!

Our first visit and I cannot believe as locals we haven't been here sooner. Every dish we had was excellent!! The seafood was fresh and light, not greasy or heavy. The meat pie appetizer was unique and delicious. The chicken in the Limone was buttery and tender. My daughter cleaned her plate of pasta primavera, which is surprising because the portions are very generous. Great service (thank you Cindy). A+ WE WILL BE BACK OFTEN Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

The atmosphere at Traditions is that of a favorite neighborhood restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I have tried a different dish every visit and have not been disappointed. The photo is scallops and shrimp with sun-dried tomatoes, spinach over angel hair pasta with a pesto and romano cheese cream sauce. If you are looking for a great meal in a friendly atmosphere Traditions is the place to go. My sister lives in Saco so go to where the locals go went inside and met the hostess which I would have to say was the hostess with the mostess very sweet lady wish I got your name . We didn’t have reservations and there was a 20 minute wait time we were recommended the desert bar next door as we waited for a table. When we were called back we sat at the bar and our server who was the bartender Hilary was extremely busy… she was quite pleasant but didn’t check on us as much as I would have liked . I would have liked more bread and perhaps a recommendations on some Mixed drinks.. no moscato folks perhaps putting that on the drink menu would have been a welcoming choice we opted for the water and a glass of ginger ale. For dinner I ordered the spaghetti luguinni with meatballs 2 meatballs which were e small in size and a bland sauce . My sister ordered the pasta pomodoro with sun dried tomatoes and a angel pasta with added chicken which was quite tasty . The chocolate torte was delicious yet there were only 2 choices for dessert which was a bit disappointing… good experience but could have been better and atmosphere was really loud since it was quite busy Tip reflected on our server not being more attentive Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
