Good clean store and a new Starbucks coming soon!
Waited 5 minutes at service desk … and finally Trisha came didn’t say a word to me! Great customer service you have!
This review is for a particular employee. I failed to obtain her name, but she is a beautiful, younger black woman that works in the customer service area behind self checkout. If it helps, she was working today (1/19)at 6:15 pm. About a month ago I came in in the evening, frantically looking for oxygen in a can for my dog. He was scheduled for home euthanasia the next morning for heart failure (along with our other dog for her own health issues) and was randomly having a difficult time breathing lying down. I was just trying to help keep him comfortable until morning. She stopped what she was doing to help me, and when she realized how upset I was, pulled me to the side, asked if I was okay, and the second she understood started helping me find alternative stores nearby to find what I needed. I ended up just totally breaking down and this woman literally gave me like a solid 5 minute hug in the middle of the store. She showed me so much kindness when she didn’t need to, and truly worked hard and quickly to help me. I was obviously distracted and failed to write this sooner. But I saw her today! She was helping someone when I saw her today and I was in a hurry, but we caught each others eyes and shared a smile. If I see her again I’ll be sure to grab her name so I can call corporate but for now this will have to do. Management- she is an amazing employee. Work hard to keep her. The world needs more of her.
The butchers in the meat department are lazy, rude, and pathetic who will give you an attitude, particularly women, if you ask them to cut more meat if they don't have any on display. This seems to be a common occurrence because they did a lady like this last week. Customers service is non-existent in this department and if you are bothered by customers asking you to do your job then quit! Its just that simple. I will go to another tom thumb that values customer service.

I went to buy deli meat and was informed at the deli counter I was eligible to receive 1 lb of Dietz & Watson cheese for purchasing 1 lb of Dietz & Watson deli meat, which I accepted. The store associate bagged the cheese without placing a sticker on it. Then my checkout experience happened - the cashier was extremely hesitant to place the aforementioned cheese into a bag as he was notably skeptical of the offer I received. He asked several cashiers if my story seemed "viable" and after I challenged him to call the deli directly, he called over his manager to see if my deal was allowable, to which she confirmed it was in fact an offering of the store. I will never go back as I was essentially accused of stealing and my integrity questioned multiple times. An employee should be aware of what deals are presented to its customers, and if they aren't, spare me my integrity in light of their ignorance. Completely unacceptable.
Going into the store no issues. But shopping online, if I’m lucky enough for them to actually pick my order for pick up, I may get rotted fruit. I am extremely disappointed In their pickup service.

Love Tom Thumb. Appreciate the app and the deals. Also the crew here keeps place nice and clean. I will say with T-Mobile however it's quite difficult to get a signal inside the store. So using my app inside the store doesn't work very well.

Times get tough, buck twenty an ounce is rough, but you gotta do what you gotta do
My husband and I placed our first ever grocery pickup from this location today. Four out of five items were past the expiration date. Two yogurts had an expiration date of August 14th. Today is September 2nd. We ordered two ready to cook meals (salmon and steak). The steak was a day old. It had a grayish color. We attempted to cook the salmon (the date was fine) but it never fully cooked. We even cooked it at a higher temperature than it recommended. We will never order/buy from Tom Thumb again.

Great grocery store. Clean, and well organized. Friendly staff. Fair prices, with weekly deals and rewards. Also coupons available with their rewards program. I'll be coming here for sure, plus it's very close to my home.
