Omg! I hope you tried their Green Tea Signature Shot! Amazing food and service. Had a wonderful opportunity to meet Tom Ryan, the owner, and hear about his journey. Love how passionate he is about food, elevating dishes, and having fun! It shows in the menu and each dish. He's fascinated (and serious) about how food and flavors work, how they pair well or don't, and how ingredients can add some magic to a dish. Portions are big and sharable, so a perfect place to hang out after work with colleagues or with friends (not just on a game day). I love quality food, a good atmosphere, and friendly service; this is the place! I wish they have more golf simulators.
Tom’s Watch Bar has come to DC and has settled in nicely right next door to the Capitol One arena in Chinatown. The restaurant meets classic sports bar vibes with an elevated menu that appeals to the taste of today’s foodie. I treated to almost everything on the menu. However, my favorite dish, hands down was the Tom’s Famous Prime Rib Beef. The combination of the prime rib, cheese and horseradish with the dipping sauce was exactly what I needed to soak up the many margaritas that I had. After eating all that food, I was grateful that there was a Top Golf simulator that helped burn off some calories.

This bar was a great stop on our way to grab food in Chinatown! The atmosphere was sports friendly with open seating. I absolutely loved the Lavender Lemon Drop drink. It was superb! The fried pickles were also delicious and well fried. I would love to return to try the Ahi Tuna tower and more of those Lavender cocktails. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I went to Tom’s right before I wizards game. To be 100% honest my group actually tried to go to Yard House and Clydes and they were both full. Lucky for us Tom’s had space. The food was pretty good except for the loaded fries they felt very underwhelming. The nachos were probably the best dish we got. Our waiter was good. Very thorough. I think this place as a little to expensive but maybe I just missed happy hour. All in all my group enjoyed our experience. I was waiting for the wizards game to start playing on one of the TVs to signal out time to leave but they didn’t show it.
PROS As many have indicated on their reviews, the service is very good and friendly. Additionally there are plenty of TVs showing multiple sporting events. If you're a sports fan looking for a fun atmosphere this won't disappoint. CONS I will preface my comments by saying the waitress and support staff were very friendly. However, the overwhelming complaints were the service failed on basic standards and the food was a major disappointment. The appetizers and one of the main courses literally arrived within a minute of each other. The second main course arrived less than 1-2 minutes after. Even the server apologized but didn't offer to have it redone. Finally the food itself, which ironically was highly recommended by the server, was a huge disappointment. Dishes were absent of flavor. Shrimp and lobster tacos were bland. Some Korean BBQ wings had little to no sauce while others were drenched in sauce. Definitely avoid if you've had authentic Korean wings. Overall I would recommend going for the fun atmosphere, wide selection of drinks, but consider eating elsewhere for good food. Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I went to Tom's Watch Bar on September 17, 2023. The food was good and the drinks were better. However, I was more impressed by the service of the staff. Although the restaurant was packed, I was still seated within 15 minutes and the food was a my table in a timely manner. Our server Jessica was so sweet and helpful. And while Liz was not my server she also made sure my table had everything we needed. Rayana and Adara were the hostess and they set the tone for what was a most pleasant experience. Lastly it seemed like staff has a great leader in Manager Miles, as he too was readily available to be of service. I definitely plan to revisit Tom's. Visited Tom’s Watch Bar for their Friends and Family opening. The service was top notch: friendly, attentive, personable. Food menu was reduced. Wings were large and quite tasty. Shrimp was okay, nothing special. The tv sports viewing options were amazing. I will go back.

Great for watching sports is about it. Family and I ordered hummus and calamari as appetizers. We all agreed the food was not good at all!!! We decided not to order the main course for this reason. The wife and I ordered old fashion drinks and we both frowned at the face to the taste. This is horrible!!! The old fashions didn't go well so I asked for a vodka, tonic and lime. I repeated my order to three different waiters and they brought me some type purple gin and soda. I DO NOT drink gin!!! Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
