One of the bright spots to eat at in coos bay / northbend. The sushi is very well prepared, and the off menu yakisoba is very well prepared and seasoned. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Tuna

Food was adequate, service was on par as well as the restaurant itself. Huge disappointment was the mandatory 18% gratuity charge added to our bill because we had more than 6 at our table. Gratuity or tipping should never be forced upon the customer no matter the party size. I do normally leave a 10% tip even though servers still get at least a full minimum wage in Oregon. I am aware some restaurants do this but we were not told before the meal we would be charged an 18% fee for bring them more business... It's for this reason we will not be going back and they will lose our future business. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
It was my first time there, and we went in for sushi. When we entered, we saw a tank full of live crab and lobster. Turns out they were having a Dungeness crab dinner special, so we had to get that. The sushi was delicious, but the crab it was something else! The sauce that was on the crab was dreamy. Unfortunately, I didn't have my phone on me to take a picture, but it was some of the best crab I've ever had, and I've had a lot. Our waitress was great and our food came quickly. The house sake was smooth. Well done! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best sushi on the Oregon Coast. Impressive sake selection, local wine offerings, perfect tempura. Humble and charming, will be working my way through their menu until it bores me, but that seems unlikely to happen. Try the Empire roll. Honestly disappointed after having several people refer this place to eat at. The sushi had no flavor for the price they were asking for it. We tried the Godzilla roll which wasn’t spicy at all and was very bland tasting. Presentation was poor. Edamame had barely any salt and no salt available at the table. Miso was good but that’s hard to mess up. I tried soft shell crab as well, and it was $12 for mostly batter; I couldn’t taste any crab at all. Overall spent $40 for unsatisfying food and left still hungry. Customer service could’ve been more attentive and employee dress code was comparative to high school kids versus a Japanese restaurant. Probably won’t ever eat here again Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes Miso Soup
Last Saturday, we had a reservation for 4 at 6:15. We get there & we were told all available is at the sushi bar. I ordered a Tiger roll & got a roll with salmon on the top. I told the lady behind the bar that this is not a Tiger roll & she said yes it is a Tiger roll. I looked up what a Tiger roll has on to & it’s Unagi (eel). I told her again that this is not a Tiger roll & she insisted it was! I always came here to order food to go & I will never go there again. Also another incident with a group of ladies that go to lunch every Tuesday (we go to various places) & they told us we can’t have lunch special because we had a large group (we pay separately). We left & went somewhere else for lunch. Us ladies will never go here again! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
