It is already in my list of cafes to visit if i'm in Kuantan. I love their waffle. The ambience and interior are good. Just i hope that they can improve on their service. It takes some time to get your order.

Iced black was great. Latte was smooth and great milk frothing skill. Kudos to Syafiq. Sandwich was delicious and nicely done. Although both the days we were there Syafiq was operating alone, he was fantastic in running on one man show. Tjantek boss should give him a raise. Will definitely return again when we are in Kuantan.

Tjantek was in my list of cafes and I finally got the chance to come here! Spectacular vibes, truly loved the Apple Cinnamon waffles - it gave me a sense of Autumn, something I’d eat on a cozy warm night of Autumn season 🥰 their Tjantek Punch was perfect!!! Loved the combination of the drink.
Loved the ambience as well! I couldn’t stop admiring the vintage decos everywhere. Came here with a friend on Sunday 24/9 - we enjoyed the service too.

tried the croissandwich - spicy beef bacon & chicken ham & cheese. the food is good! love the ambience & waiter is friendly. plus, it has more tables at the back. definitely will come here again if going to kuantan.

Stopped by Tjantek, a cozy café nestled in Jalan Besar, Kuantan, Pahang, allured by its charming old-school and minimalist ambiance. The café’s aesthetic is undoubtedly beautiful and elegant, drawing attention from passersby.
However, my experience was slightly marred by the service. Despite the inviting setup, the staff’s demeanor was unexpectedly cold and lacking in warmth. Their interaction seemed tinged with sarcasm, which didn’t contribute positively to the atmosphere.
Nonetheless, the café itself is a visual treat and offers a serene environment for those seeking a quiet spot. The old-school charm and minimalist design create a unique vibe worth experiencing. Hopefully, the service aspect can match the appeal of the café’s ambiance in the future.

Slow and steady, that what I can describe for this coffee house. They made everything slowly, nothing fast here. You will only get your drinks at least 20minutes later. My waffle was received after 30 minutes.
I can say this place really for relaxing and enjoy your life. Nothing special except their decorations.

I was about to give 7 stars rating to this cafe. Luckily google only allowed max 5 stars. Felt so calm upon we sit back & relax here. Fantastic ambient. Relaxing music. Good coffee. Simple yet presentable food. Friendly service. My last visit to this place was in 2013. I can see there are changes in these shop arrangements. Definitely will come back soon.

we went there for lunch. food was sooo good especially the waffle and green tea.. the waffle is very soft inside and have crispy texture outside. There's a lot of instagrammable spot to take picture.
the staff was friendly. but the service not that fast.. just that the staff keep on checking if there is any order miss out.. ohh the location is very nearby with Kula Cake.. but there problem is only parking. Lucky we come during festive season so not very busy.. if you come during normal weekend, please look in advance where to park.

One of the good places for chilling at Kuantan. Nice ambience and good color lighting in the cafe. We came here during lunch hours and there were not many people around. The waffle is amazing, crunchy on the outside yet soft on the inside. The drink too is amazing as recommended by the staff there. Service is good too as the staff knew what to recommend on the menu and they are friendly as well. The serving speed is a bit slow on the other hand, as we waited for a while for our food to arrive despite no other people. Parking is also an issue here as there are not many parking places to go around if you came here by car.
