I love this place! Was recommended by a friend and so glad we spent an afternoon here eating amazing food and drinking amazing wine! And enjoying great conversation! The owners, Rachel and Chris, definitely are major food and wine experts- very knowledgeable! This is definitely a must visit when in the area and we will definitely be back!! I love Plymouth and this is in my top five places to go! Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a wonderful evening we had at the Tin Roof Cafe. We were staying next door at the Rest Hotel and they suggested we try it out. We were not disappointed. The food was so fresh, tasty, and served to perfection. As good as the food was, the service was impeccable. We were welcomed by Chris, who with his wife Rachel, own this restaurant. They have a true passion for what they do and it shows. Chris sat with us after our meal and talked to us for almost an hour and had us try so many of his delicious wines. These are not grocery store wines, nor regular wines you can find everywhere. Chris is extremely knowledgeable about wines and works tirelessly to source local boutique, family style wineries that are out of the ordinary and will “wow” his patrons. I wish them both much success, but based on our interactions with both of them last night, they will not need any luck. If you’re in the area, you have to give it a try. It’s like coming home for dinner. Thanks for a very memorable evening. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best wine bar in Amador County has gotten even better! I first fell in love with Tin Roof when they were in Dry town. Now they're in Plymouth with more space (and an outdoor patio!), and have maintained the same charm, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly locals from before. Chris is an expert on wines and brings in fantastic wines from all around the region (as well as creating a variety of spritzers for those hot summer days). Rachel is a fantastic chef and always has something new and delicious on the menu made from fresh ingredients from the local farmers' markets (try one of her amazing charcuterie boards). Whether you're looking for lunch, dinner, or just a quick glass or two I highly recommend stopping by. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We didn't have the food ourselves, but everything we saw looked great. It's a fantastic bar and the service is great. We were travelling through Plymouth for a few days from England, and we were made so welcome. I cannot recommend this place highly enough Price per person $20–30 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
