Way small dining area. Patio was closed because of the cold. But when you are boosted on social media, it's going to be crowded. I came here about 9 years ago and it seems different now.
We had a 7:00 pm reservation for 6 on a Saturday and had to wait for people to get up and leave.
It did take a while for the food to come after placing the order. Others who sat after we did, got their food before us. I wrote it off as we had 6 vs 2-4 but I'd rather the food he brought out as it's ready than wait for all 6 orders are ready.
I got the Fettuccine Alfredo and added chicken. The chicken was good. The noodles perfect. The sauce was pretty bland.
The wife got the chicken Parmesan. I have to say it was very good! Perfectly flavored with the right blend of spices. Highly recommend.
Two others got the bacon & shrimp Mac & cheese. I did get a bite and yes. Another recommended dish!
Another got the salmon. He said it was dry and overcooked.
Two of us got cheesecake. One "to-go" and one to eat there. The one for to go was way smaller! Same price but we felt jipped. So don't get it to go! The key lime raspberry was good but I failed to taste the key lime part.
I would recommend for those living near by but not sure it's worth the 20 minute drive we had.

Instagram got my hopes up for this place but I left disappointed. Service was great. All the staff were friendly. Nice casual atmosphere. The food was "meh" and bordering on bad. I wish it tasted as good as it looked. Presentation was on point but flavors were underwhelming. The chicken in the Alfredo was dry, the meatballs were okay, and the biggest disappointment was the fish and chips. The fish LOOKED great, but the breading was soft and soggy. We might be back someday to give it a second chance, but not soon.

First time, but I’ll be back. I would say that this is an establishment with a kitchen / chef who takes a great deal of pride in what they put on the table. We ordered fish and chips (their most ordered item) and the open faced roast beef sandwich. Oh wow. The depth of flavor was outstanding.
We were there on a busy weekend night. There were a lot of people waiting for tables. We sat by the door which wasn’t ideal, but that was our poor choice 😂. Go early if you don’t want to wait for a table. I usually say, “food isn’t worth a long wait time…” that was until I went to Ton Roof Grill. Go, it’s worth it.

Friendly staff . Loved their chicken fried steak . My friend ordered their biscuits & gravy . He loved it ( He’s from the South) so he knows his biscuits & gravy ☺️.
Cozy atmosphere . It’s not a very big place & it can get really crowded too . I’m sure during the weekends.
Also , their cheese cake was yummy too !

Today I had the Haddock Fish & Chips which comes with house made coleslaw & chips. ($19.50) My wife had the Open faced Smoked Roast Beef sandwich & mashed potatoes topped with a mushroom Marsala sauce. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend giving Tin Roof Grill a try!!!

We’ve been to the Tin Roof Grill a few times, and I just have never found anything there that tastes that great. Our server took our order brought over our meals and then disappeared until it was time to give us a check. We finally ended up walking over and grabbing a pitcher of water ourselves since we were neglected. It says they’re famous for their cheesecake, which is definitely worth skipping. It felt like a place with very bland food that’s popular for old people.

We enjoyed our experience at Tin Roof.
We got there at 5:00 and there was no one there. We just seated ourselves which is why I took one star off the service. I'm glad we got there when we did because the place was packed by 5:30 and people had to wait for a seat to open up.
I had the fish and chips and my husband had a burger. Both were great. My haddock was as big as my plate! Based on reviews we also got a cheesecake. I am not a cheesecake lover but this one was amazing. We had the key lime raspberry flavor.
I would definitely come back here if I am ever in Sandy again.

Great atmosphere, can’t believe the fresh taste of the French Toast (perfect balance, not to sweet) and the service was great. My bf was amazed with their breakfast spaghetti. Two plates and coffee for $32, great value.
Definitely my new fav place for breakfast🙌🏻✨

Never been here til yesterday. The food was good, & I especially liked their fry's.They were quite different, but good. If you go away hungry, it's your own fault. They serve you quite a bit of food.

First time eating here and we will definitely be back for the food, however the service will definitely leave a sour taste in your mouth.
We had the fish and chips and white bean steak pizza which was delicious! We over heard our server Micheal bad mouth customers multiple times who were waiting to be seated. To place our order, get refills, order cheesecake and get our check we had to stop other employees every time. Tyler was chill and helped us out.
Plan on coming back but hope to get sat in someone else’s section…
