Such a quaint lil place. Stumbled upon this wonderful little seafood spot. We started with steamed blue point oysters...yum yum. Had fried shrimp and mahi. Recommended this spot for sure. Yum yum!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were looking for a new local restaurant and came up on Tin Fish. First visit so we wanted to try a lot of things. Here is what we had: - a dozen Blue Point Oysters @ $40 - a cup of soup of the day @ $8.95 - Whole yellow tail @ $54.25 - a side of Asian sauce @ $3.95 - a small side of rice @ $3.50 - Fish & Chips @ $18.95 - Cornbread @ $7.95 - 2 drinks 1 @ $9 & 1 @ $17 - Carrot Cake @ $10.95 - Oreo Cheesecake @ $9.95 It was quite a hefty tab. We enjoyed all of the food and the atmosphere was nice. We sat at the bar and the bartender was really busy but was also very nice and as attentive as possible. The one thing that really got me is that there was a Credit Card Processing fee @ $5.93. I know some places want you spent over $20 or so or even add tip for parties of 6 or more, but this seems excessive. I've seen other reviews with the same charge but different amount. I think that with the cost of the food, this was like a nickle & dime to death thing. We are already spending $200 before tip, this charge only left a bad taste in our mouths. What an excellent seafood restaurant in this unassuming Sunrise strip mall. The manager told us that they literally had a fresh swordfish that they caught an hour ago on ice! The servers were friendly and took our orders quickly and efficiently despite our party of 7. Grilled swordfish for us to sample came out with our appetizers. It was a big hit and a couple of my co-workers changed their orders. I ordered the salmon and I was so full from my tuna nachos that I barely touched my salmon dish. Food was very tasty and I would venture up there just to go back to eat at Tin Fish.
