Nothing can be better than eating nicely cooked burgers, trout and lamb meatballs. Sundaes that this bar offers you are good. The whole impression won't be complete without draft beer that is delicious here. The homely atmosphere of Timber! allows customers to relax after a hard working day. Original and fresh menu. The service was excellent with the waiter knowing the menu and what to recommend. While many people in JC have stated this is a good place for anniversaries, birthdays, etc. I don't find it to be a romantic or quiet place. The room is loud and busy with tables close together. One of our favorite places. Food is always delicious. Service staff is beyond friendly. Highly recommend to make reservations. If you get there early, you can hang out by fireplace and drink cocktails. They do have a bar area that is first come first serve. Timber! Is the kind of food experience I am always looking for. This place has become one of my favorite restaurants to frequent. Their menu features a wonderful variety of dishes, many of which are there regularly, but keep an eye out, their seasonal additions come and go and should not be missed. Flavor profiles are unique and delicious, I have been consistently surprised by their creative choices in ingredients. Bravo! Service can certainly make or break any dining experience, and I am happy to say the service here is excellent. The staff is a joy to speak with and they are very knowledgeable about the menu items. I greatly appreciate their input when I have a question, and they have been great with personal recommendations. A highly recommended, not-to-be-missed dining experience. I've visited multiple times, and the food has been perfect each visit. The corn ribs are delicious no matter how you get them, the drinks (try the ph14) are phenomenal, and the popcorn chicken was equally fantastic. Highly recommend the s'mores dessert too - I've had s'mores that didn't taste that much like s'mores! The hostess (unfortunately didn't catch her name, apologies) and our server Iris were both wonderful. I can't wait to visit again soon - one of the best parts of Johnson City is the number and quality of locally owned businesses. As an employee of The State of Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, I've had opportunities to eat to some of the best places in our great state, and I must say that Timber! Exceeded all of my expectations. The food, the service, the atmosphere.....it was all top notch. I look so forward to recommending this place to locals and tourists alike. I was blown away! I had family come in from over 2200 miles away, we had ONE night to eat out together and I chose Timber. I am SO glad I did! Thank you for your incomparable hospitality and a menu that kept us ordering one item after another!

This is our favorite place! It’s always delicious, the bartender Brandon is great, and the whole place is pretty low key, but so super tasty! I’ve heard they weren’t great when they first opened a couple years ago, but I can confidently say from experience that they have completely turned it around and provide a wonderfully delicious variety of food and drinks! If past stories/experiences are keeping you from going, give them another chance. You won’t be disappointed! You really can’t ever go wrong with any of their staple items, but we have always been very impressed with the seasonal items as well! It is always worth it when you get quality! We would highly recommend- always!

As a foodie, I don't know how I hadn't heard of this place sooner. The whole place is a vibe! The aesthetic is dope: the cook books were a nice touch. Our waitress was Mads and she was awesome! We started with the fried green tomatoes (10/10) and the qual (8/10). I enjoyed the whipped goat cheese with the tomatoes. The texture was surprisingly pleasant and the honey was an excellent addition as well. I do recommend thinner slices to allow the consumer to easier/better enjoy the breading and tomato simultaneously. My drink was the Butterflies Knees: a take on Bees Knees (10/10), not too sweet. Perfect! Our entrees were the braised lamb (10/10) and the lamb meatballs (9/10). I hate lima beans but that puree with the meatballs was so good! The braised lamb was the star of the evening! Timber is a unique and wonderful dining experience in the tri-cities. Our waitress was amazing, She was knowledgeable and offered suggestions. The food was incredible and so sumptuous while the atmosphere was cozy and inviting as something you might find in Europe. We can't wait to enjoy Timber! again. By far the best restaurant in the area. A little on the loud side but the food, service, and atmosphere are well worth it. They have a wonderful wood stove that we enjoyed a drink by after dinner. Wow! I’ve eaten here twice now and both times have been blown away with the food and cocktails. Everything is so unique and tasty.
