I was very disappointed. I was looking forward to having some good dim sum as it has been months since I had the chance. The food was not bad, but not worth the price. Only dish worth praising was the shrimp toast, which was quite good, but the rest were just ok. We ordered 5 dishes, and it ended up being 858NT for two people. There was a 10% service fee, but we didn’t have our water topped up once while there for 40 minutes. We had to ask them to switch plates, as there was grease on the plate. Also there was a hair on the dipping sauce plate. Paying 858NT and their plates were not even ceramic. They use plastic plates. Very disappointing experience. This restaurant is famous for a lot of reasons. One is consistency of taste despite the location and the taste itself, is actually good. Their pork buns are their best sellers but their rice bowls are also worth ordering. They have English in their menu and foreign and local credit cards as well as cash is available as modes of payments. Ate here because of proximity to my hotel and it opens at 10am on weekdays. Dim sum was good but not exceptional. No better than those in the Bay Area. Luckily, the bbq buns saved it from complete mediocrity. The bread has a crunchy sweet exterior that compliments the pork inside nicely. Service was swift and efficient. Be prepared for a wait if you want to dine in, as the line does queue up quite a bit. I ended up just getting a quick takeout instead but was amazed at the quality of their takeout. The pork ribs with black bean sauce was steamed to perfection, the ribs were nice and tender and fell off the bone and were nice and juicy, full of flavor. Cost was decent too, around $4.25USD so probably around 140NTD, better than the Tim Ho Wan in NYC in both price and quality for sure. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–200 Food: 5

All windows were covered by drapes so there was minimal natural lighting 🥴 staff responded nicely when asked to leave the cover behind to keep a dish warm. Dishes were served one after another with very little wait time in between 🙌🏼 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

We had a really good experience here. Stopped in for dinner, the place was packed but we got seats rather quickly. Ordered our usual spread and it was great dim sum, prices reasonable. The staff was quick to get our order out. Everything was very fresh, it is a restaurant we would mind coming back to when we visit Taipei again. It is a large chain restaurant but the quality is there. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–200

Dimsum at this place is great. I was expecting muted flavors as per Taiwanese standard, but I'm glad that it's not. I especially enjoyed the pork buns and char siew vermicelli. All the dimsum items are just amazing. Service was quite fast, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back to satisfy my dimsum cravings. Delicious! Stir fried Chao Mien (pic given below) a must try. And all 3 desserts are up to the mark, hit the sweet note. I tied hot taro and sago sweet dish, which taste best as usual. weekends maybe waiting for 20 to 30 mins during lunch and dinner time. But it’s worth waiting. A must visit, if you are in metro walk.
