I wanted to reserve a table via google on a Saturday but it kept showing me no tables available,when I got there trying my luck surprisingly the place was close to being empty, I suggest you call the restaurant to confirm… Great atmosphere ,great food and lovely service. If you plan on having a small dinner party of 15 people or less they have lovely tables which can cater . Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person R 500+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I was very disappointed with how my friend and I were treated when we tried to walk in. The woman at the door was very rude. “Woah how old are you guys? No under 18’s here. There is the sign on the door”. I understand them wanting to adhere to regulations but the approach was very wrong. Worst part when we were finally allowed to get in, there was a family at one of the tables with little children (maybe between the ages of 7-10). Anyway, my friend and I are actually way over 18. We are 31 for crying out loud. Yes we look quite young and again it’s more about that woman’s rude approach. She didn’t even apologise upon seeing our IDs and realising we are actually adults. That was a very weird experience. On the plus side, our waitress was absolutely amazing. I have now unfortunately forgotten her name but if I ever come back here, it will be because of her. The waitress was very rude to me and my friend. We waited several minutes to be seated even though there was no line at the door and plenty of open tables. After being seated, my friend and I waited an hour and 15 minutes for our order to NOT be taken, despite asking several waiters around us several times if they would please take at least our drink orders (4 times). All ignored us. We eventually left to eat next door at Mr. George. A bit more pricey but fantastic service, fantastic food and a fantastic turnaround time. We didn’t wait long for our food, our waiter regularly checked on us and the vibes inside were calm and elegant. When you think of going to Tiger Milk Melrose, go to Mr. George instead. Wow! This place is cool. I ordered the Gluten free pizza with vegan cheese but they were out of the cheese. I asked to look at the menu a few minutes more and when the server, named Melusi, came back he said they called a neighboring restaurant and they had some vegan cheese so they could make my pizza. Talk about service! The food was delicious and I will be back! There is a DJ playing very cool music that's easy to vibe with but isn't too loud. Our Uber driver told us to come here and we are so happy that we did. A++ would recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great place to chill out and have a conversation with your food, the drinks are really strong, which is great because they offer value for money. The service was excellent, Themba was our waiter and was amazing. At the end of the evening we even got a complimentary dessert. The food was ok. Nothing mind blowing. The burger could have been seasoned better and the sweet potato fries were undercooked. Drinks were good and vibe was very nice. The service was below par. The waiter forgot our drinks order and then made a mistake with the mains order. I also asked for a bit of mayonnaise to dip the onions into and without telling me there would be extra charge added a charge on the bill of R20 for a teaspoon of mayonnaise. Incredibly unprofessional and just left a bad taste at the end of the evening. Overall they should do better all round.
