We traveled down to River Oaks to try the highly rated wings at The Wing Spot, and I'm happy to report that the wings are worth the trip.
The place was pretty easy to find and has decent parking, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
We learned about daily lunch specials and an upcoming happy hour option with what sounded like some great food specials.
We ordered our 30 piece half Buffalo Medium and half Buffalo Hot, and both were served hot, crispy (the Party wings are crispier than the Jumbo wings) and flavorful.
We plan to be back and done in, and we'll visit the bar to try some of the nice top shelf tequilas.
