I.... am literally coming back next week here.  Everything from the vegetables,  the main dishes,  the dessert was 5/5. Nichole was amazing, making sure everything was perfect for our dinner date. Appetizer: Mussels: Paired with their bread,  the essence of seafood and butter was bliss🥵 Pork belly: thick and perfectly rendered fat just melted in my mouth Main: Pork chop: It's really amazing how perfectly cooked this was, just where the inside was opaque but pink.  It was so juicy and tender,  I barely had to chew. The potato.. that came with assorted vegetables almost took the spotlight.  You just have to try it or I'll just sound like a snobby foodie Jambalaya: protein galore of sausage, shrimp and crab meat.  It was not heavy at all, which ended up me licking the dish Dessert: Tres Leches bread pudding Holy crap this is bomb.  It's that perfect moisture you want in a bread/pastry. If you rate Cinnabon up there,  this one is 10x here better. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had their muscles, signature wagyu burger, and the jambalaya. The muscles were kind of fishy, but the bread and sauce they served it with were pretty good, and it was a decent sized portion for the price ($16). The burger was pretty flavorless and dry despite getting it medium rare ($24). The fries it came with were pretty good. The jambalaya was very underseasoned and bland, but the seafood in it was decent quality ($35). Probably the most bland jambalaya I've ever had. We didn't do drinks, which is something it looks like they specialize in. Service and atmosphere were decent. Overall, not remotely worth the cost for the level of food quality. We are a big foodie family. We love quality food; meat, fish, vegetables, etc. We have tried food from all over the world and have a lot of experience with fine dining. That being said, we have supported Vitner's Tavern since they opened for business. Our family loves whole-in-the-wall restaurants, especially when they come to Chino Hills. However, we have not had consistent experiences there. The service is typically slow, and the food is hit or miss. Considering they recently received their liquor license and opened a full bar, we thought we would give it a try. On Friday 8/25/23, we called to make reservations for 6:00pm and everything was going well until about 15 minutes into our dinner when we realized not a single server was paying attention to us. We were not greeted by a server for at least 20 minutes. Throughout the dinner, our waitress asked us the same question multiple times and forgot to put in our appetizer multiple times. I do have to say the cocktails were delicious, and the bartender did a killer job. The food, not so much. My New York Steak with Pomme Frites was flavorless. My boyfriend's Vitner's Burger was greasy and soggy. My mom's Casareci pasta also had zero flavor. The gochujang chicken was nothing special, either. We were handed the salt shaker with zero salt in it. The 'seasonal cheeses' have been the same selection of cheeses for the past 3 years; they do not change with the season, and it seems they purchase the same snack pack from Costco each day. The baguette was stale and butter cold. It is clear the servers are not on the same page. A team meeting before each opening shift would probably solve a lot of the issues this establishment seems to have. We ended up ordering (3) appetizers, 8 drinks total (4 people/2 rounds each), and one entree each; our dinner lasted 2 hours (way too long). There was a lot of sitting and staring considering the wait times and slow service. It is sad to say, but we will not be returning here. Good luck to you, Vitner's. Hopefully you do not become another failed business in Chino Hills. I am only giving it 2 stars because of the bartender. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

We came to the restaurant for dinner with the family. Food was good, appetizers tasted good. My complaint is that they add an extra 20% for large parties without any prior notification. We were not informed about that when making the reservation and it is not written anywhere on the menu. It says on the bill extra 20% for large parties 10+,,, even though we were a party of 8 !!! Had a 26 dollar burger with crumbled blue cheese and grilled onions. You couldn't see either when the plate was put in front of me . Had to lift up the bun to see it . When it came out it look like a large mcdonald burger. Just as flat . No lettuce , no tomato . Don't look appetizing. It's taste blah . Probably a bland burger and most over priced burger I have had in my 52 years . Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
