The Village Cafe was the perfect venue for our catered event, a 60th Birthday Party with a "Picnic" theme, and Open Mic music, for 90 people. Bill Baird and his staff did an exceptional job preparing and displaying the food beautifully. They truly raise food prep to an art form, and the guests expressed over and over to me how good everything tasted, especially the chicken. The cake was a wonderfully dense and very flavorful pound cake, with delicious butter cream icing, and Bill worked with me to achieve my unique decoration request. He and his staff were professional and gracious. The Facilities staff was also very gracious and attentive, meeting all of our needs. The Audio Tech was professional and worked well with the performers, and mixed sound for the variety of acts with skill, creating a pleasant atmosphere. This unique venue and it's wide menu options lend themselves well to any event from casual to formal, and I highly recommend them to any host.
Great food at great prices! The ambiance is terrific too. A great place to grab a bite and relax in a friendly environment. What a great addition to coffee/eatery options in Worcester!
I've stopped in just for coffee as well as for meals. The coffee is great! The food is great! The prices are great! When you are in the café you don't even realize that you're in a church! Highly recommend!!!!!
