I like the scenery, but I recommend going there early in the morning and evening as the sun is very hot during midday.
Come for the view, not for the food. The road is pretty rough getting there, but the view is really incredible and it's a nice atmosphere to relax for a while. The food is average at best though. Also kind of weird that they charge an entrance fee to the restaurant. I would rather pay more for food than be charged an entrance fee 😂
Wooden Cottages modern facilities with best view of water fall with 150 meter sheet drop
The view in the hotel was very beautiful but the way to the hotel is very narrow. And also there was no WiFi which is bad for people who have to work while they are on the trip. Also if you want to see view point you have to go down so many stairs. There is also trekking package but you have to pay for it even if you are staying at the hotel.

Very disappointing: permanent power cuts and virtually no generator, we had to shower in the dark with cold water. ||||Dinner: dirty, crumpled table clothes. Power went off again and the staff had no back-up whatsoever, either battery-powered lamps or even candles. We had to have our Christmas dinner at the light of our mobile.||||Breakfast also underwhelming, served in a kind of weird and disappointing barn/stable.||||Apart from one or two girls, the staff was also absolutely useless, a bunch of teenagers in crumpled shirts, no uniform, no proper clothing in sight, no sense of service, no attention to the client. Lousy all along.||||When we complained to the GM, we found a useless chap, putting all the blame on the owner, whereas he's been the manager here for 3 years. He had 3 years to buy candles and a proper iron for clothes, and it's not the owner's fault if it wasn't done. ||||He stubbornly refused to give any discount and we eventually paid 70 USD for a disappointing stay. We would have had much better stay for half the price anywhere in Myanmar. Unacceptable.

We love coming to the View for the view of The waterfalls. Their food is delicious and it’s nice to sit down for a bite to eat after the hour and a half trek down to the falls and back. If you get here between 2 and 6 their drinks are 20% off for happy hour.

Cons: 1) No Wifi 2) When there is powercut and management refused to run the generator until it has become pitch dark. No portable light (not even candle) provided in the bedroom and/or on your dining table. They didn’t inform guests in advance that they were about to stop the generator even if there was still a power-cut. 3) F&B staff are not attentive at all and don’t even know if the wine on their menu are still available, food are just edible only 4) hotel reception - poor representation including the check in counter itself (which is same counter with bar) and of course the staff 5) an irresponsible manager who pushed all his responsibilities to the investor(s) of the hotel - said he only had such limited resources. Eg. He doesn’t need additional resources to clean up dirty dining tables if his 5 F&B staff were doing nothing and roaming around the reception counter and there were only 2 table (4 pax) in the dining room. We even needed to go to that counter twice to get the menu. Last but not least, the hotel front desk service and F&B are hopeless unless there is a change in management. Pros: View from the view point near dining room was nice. If you want to go, can go for a short visit during sunset.

Good view from outside seating of restaurant. They had an Asian food set menu on offer the day we visited and it was tasty and good value for money. Trekking route down to the falls was closed when we visited. In this current dry season, there is no visible water coming down the waterfall, but it's still a good view.

Great view of waterfall. Nice garden. Walking track closed but there was no sign to tell us that-poor. Cost 1000 mmk to get in, for what?? Restaurant service was poor took ages to get bill, staff seemed inexperienced. One waitress dropped a tray of glasses. Then I was short changed. Wouldn’t go back for anything other than the view. Eat n drink elsewhere.
