This gem came well recommended for lunch. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, chicken burger, and yellowfin tuna wrap which came with fries. The food was above average in flavor and presentation. The tuna was flavorful but I found the wrap to be a bit dry. Nevertheless, the staff were extremely cordial. The restaurant was rather busy with it being a Thursday lunch. We recently went to the Tewksbury Inn for dinner. We started with the risotto of the day, which was tomato and bacon and the honey dew squash and burrata. We then chose the Osso Buco and Cod for our mains, and finished with splitting the smores pot de creme. We sat upstairs, and while our service was great we thought it was a little loud and at times hard to hear each other. If possible I would recommend sitting outside on the patio, because it looked amazing. The risotto was good but a little rich, but it was a large portion, the squash and burrata similarly were good but maybe missing an acid like a balsamic. The mains were incredible, we thought the cod won because the flavor combination was an elevated cod chowder, and fantastic. The smores pot de creme was a little rich for one, but great for a shared dessert. We will definitely be back again. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My wife and I had a date night so we decided to go to the Tewksbury Inn in Tewksbury NJ. Our server, Eric, was outstanding. He knew the menu and also what the bar had in stock and helped us with our drinks. He was personable, easy to talk to, and attentive without being intrusive. My wife had the cream of mushroom soup, which she enjoyed. I had the arugula salad with strawberries and Brie. It was good, could have used a bit more balsamic vinaigrette. She had the steak AU poivre, and I had the strip steak with crispy fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Both were very good. We both shared the dessert special of the evening. Milk chocolate mousse cake with strawberries and a side of ice cream. The mousse cake was a bit dense, but tasty. The atmosphere in the room it was a bit loud. We had two groups of people that were celebrating, that's fine, a bit loud for a date night. Overall, it was a nice evening, I recommend this restaurant highly. First time dining here. Drove by several times over the years. Definitely a different vibe here. Feels rustic and colonial. Dining in an historic house is interesting! Went on a Monday night and it was PACKED because wine bottles were 50% off! The meal and service was very good! I enjoyed my caeser salad, Char entree, and pumpkin cheesecake with cinnamon ice cream on top! Will definitely return for another good experience like the one I had! It was packed last night and we had to wait for our table however they did a great thing by offering us a round of drinks while we waited. They were also out of some wines and offered us reasonable alternatives. Food was very good. Thanks for handling the situation so well. My husband and I are foodies! We had an absolutely delicious dining experience! The salmon entree’ was perfection…layers of flavor, absolutely delicious down to every bite of salmon and accoutrement! Sandy took lovely care of us and we had a cozy corner table perfect for date night with my husband. Bravo to the chef!!! Merry Christmas! Excellent! The food and presentation at The Tewksbury Inn was perfect. This was our first visit and we enjoyed the food in a wonderful outside dining experience with a very friendly staff. From the fries and buffalo wing appetizers to the excellent filet mignon and salmon, we enjoyed every bite and the food was perfectly cooked. The deserts were also very good as we had the Classic strawberry cheesecake and the key lime pie. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant and it has now become part of my top ten in Jersey!

I really love this quaint resturant. We ate outside on the patio. They were alittle light staffed so not as attentive as I would like but everything we had was excellent and the waitress was very friendly as well. The salmon on pita sandwich was really tasty. I will get that again. The fresh fruit side was really freshly cut fruit. Always enjoy our visits to this resturant.
