This is a brand new resort, open less than a year when we stayed there. It is a nice place still suffering growing pains that affect the quality of a stay. The developers also cut a few corners that affect the quality of a stay. ||The rooms are spacious and well appointed, but the developers cut corners on sound insulation. We had a first floor room and listened to every footstep in the room above us. There were a few bits of the resort that simply had not been finished. For nstance the cable tv to all the machines in the fitness center had never been connected. Every time I asked about it the front desk staff pretended it was a surprise to the and they would “have somebody look into it immediately.” I would be much happier being told that they are still finishing up the details of the resort than being repeatedly lied to. ||Our other issue with the resort is that they have crammed too many units into the space available. Our unit came with a small patio with fire pit, surrounded by a nice privacy fence. Unfortunately there was another building 20 feet away whose upstairs windows looked directly down into our “private” patio. ||When they get all the small opening issues sorted out, this will be a nice place. But having stayed at other Auberge resorts, we would say that pre-construction choices have left this resort short of the usual Auberge standard.
