After enjoying Clymer Museum of Art, it may be a nice idea to visit this bar. The truth is that you will really enjoy tasty bacon, blue burgers and chicken salads. Delicious draft beer is served at Tav. Select between indoor and outdoor seating. Most reviewers consider the staff professional. Service at this place is something one can call nice. The portions for the price point were better than I could have imagined. We got the clam strips and fries, and a fish sandwich and fries. We also got a spiked hot chocolate and a classic margarita; and let me tell you, that margarita was spot on. If you’re driving through Ellensburg, stop by for a bite. They were super busy when we went, but we found the last table and despite being busy, our waitress was quick, attentive, and friendly. I never had a reason to stop in Ellensburg before, but now I will have to every time! Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We watched one of the workers clean down and clear a table and when we sat down the skinny white girl with black hair told us to get off our seat like it was the 1950’s. She said someone was already seating there and waiting for their food. Which I understand but its a bar. People don’t reserve seats nor tables. Not to mention another table was wide open. She was rude and said she would kick us out for giving her “attitude” when all my friend did was simply decline when she asked us to get up. The customer originally sitting there then came up and was WAY nicer than she was and even offered to let us sit with him. She definitely was on a trip. Crazy how a customer handled the situation way better than the actual employee. Only thing good about this bar is the really nice bartender named Monica. Im sad she wasn’t working that night because I am SO sure she would have handled that situation differently. Service: 1

Was told by my Captain, a former Central student I had to check out the Tav and get the Mother. Was like Red Robin but with a more attentive staff. Bailey and Kendra constantly checked on us even though they were so busy. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town.
