So, this night I was in the smoke section with my friend Jose at my side. He was sitted down with he head supported in one of the metal chairs. A white fat bouncer came to us and kick the metal chair thinking that he is going to throw up but he just got his head supported. My friend is black dominican and I argue with him saying that he should talk to him before kick the metal chair that can hurt my friend. He contest saying: "do not tell me how to do my job".
I got so mad, and I tell him that I can sue him for that action. He respond laughing saying that I would like to see it. Afther that he said, "if you don't like how I do my job you can take your ass out of here".
I have 2 year living in United State as an international student and I have never felt a kind of Rasims and discrimination by the way that I felt it in tonight.
This place was good it has a nice sized dance floor, another good college bar..it can be a hit or miss though, sometimes it's pretty dam good sometimes it's eh but overall I liked it
When you pay for a private bar party, their bouncers go on a power trip and kick you out for nothing. We'll be looking for a different bar next semester.
It's one of the better bars in Cortland, a little more costly than some of the others but it's a lot cleaner than most. It's a good place to chill and throw a few back.
Had someone say they were gonna stab me after they knocked my drink out of my hand. Those bastards kicked me out because those "dealers" "spend alot of money here". Pathetic.
Its atmosphere is great. They have some big name bands play there. I get a text message telling me what going on and who is playing that weekend. Love the free taco bar when they announce it. Definitely worth the trip.
