The food was good, very plentiful! Prices are extremely reasonable. Service was good as well.
The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because with Mexican restaurants, I only give 5 stars if it tastes absolutely genuine. Otherwise, this is good food modified to American tastes.

Visited here for lunch for the first time because I was hungry and it was my birthday 😅.
We were quickly seated and got our drinks and chips. The house salsa was the best I've ever tasted! I never eat house salsa at Mexican restaurants because it usually just tastes like tomato juice. This was very flavorful!
I ordered the lunch size Favorita, and it was huge! It was three meals worth of food. The meat was plentiful and fresh too!
I highly recommend this location. It's the best Mexican restaurant in the county.

Pros:
-good portion size and lots of meat on the La Favorita
-salsa bar with delicious options. My favorite was the pineapple salsa!
Cons: I don't know if it was a staffing issue, service issue, or something else, but when we went on July 3rd, it was a struggle from the start. We waited at the host stand for 10 minutes without being addressed. Once we got a table, menu, chips, and salsa, it was another 15 minutes before we got drinks ordered and then 3 reminders before I got mine. From the time we sat down until someone came to take our order, it was about 45 minutes and 3 baskets of chips. Another 30-40 minutes later, the food came out, again missing my meal and having to remind the server. Another wait in line to check out stretched our dinner to almost 2 hours.
The staff was constantly moving, and you could see they were working hard, so there are more issues than that as it just was not efficient. At that time, everyone was being given plastic knife and fork packs, and one of our meals was served on a very chipped plate. Other guests were also complaining about long wait times. We are from out of town and came with family who said their first experience at this restaurant was great, so I'm hoping this was just an off night.

In our small town with its fair share of Mexican spots, most are pretty good, offering the usual fare. But this place? They're on a whole other level. Their birria tacos are out of this world. I had a client meeting there once, and let's just say the food stole the show – we were more focused on the tacos than the talk! Now, I make it a point to bring friends here. Trust me, it’s a game-changer.

Took my daughter out to dinner and she said that it was the best fajitas she has ever had! I had the carnitas dinner and it was also excellent. Great service, awesome food, great atmosphere. Keep up the good work.
