Love Macy’s new restaurant! From the decor to the menu it pays tribute to all of the past Minnesota Macy’s restaurants that we all miss to be able to enjoy them all again!! They have the classics like pot pie and famous popovers along with twists on classics such as meatloaf slides! All was so delicious! Brought back many memories too! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Girls' day of shopping included a stop for lunch at this lovely spot! Was thrilled to see some of the wonderful recipes from The Lakeshore Grill! The Mandarin salad was AMAZING & the chicken wild rice soup was delicious!! I'm so happy this is here!!!!! The food here was delicious! A bit overpriced ($65 for two people to have a lunch sandwich and cocktail), but we still enjoyed it. Quick service but they didn't bring out our drinks. It's mostly a self-serve café concept except that they bring you your food and clear your dishes. I wish the view didn't overlook a parking lot. Some tall barrier soft pine type trees would do wonders. The pecan chicken salad croissant was delicious! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
The food was fresh and tasty. We sat outside as they offer a nice area with plenty of shade. It’s a nice spot to have a relaxed conversation with friends or family. The menu doesn’t offer a lot of meal options - some burgers, a few salads, and a few trademark options (meatloaf sliders, Bourbon Pecan Chicken salad sandwich, chicken pot pie, and a daily quiche). I have no doubt it is all good, though portions may be modest. I got the meatloaf sliders with tater tots. They were extremely generous with the tots. The two sliders were really good. The potato bread buns were very fresh and the meatloaf very tasty (they include pine nuts -yum!). But the sliders were pretty small. It would be nice if they were about 20-25% bigger. That being said, their prices are affordable. The sliders are $14. I’m not sure that the ordering process is going to work well for them. You have to grab a menu and order at the bar. I was there on a slow night and it took quite a while to place our order. I can’t imagine how this works when they’re busy. I got the impression they are working with a bare bones when it comes to staff. The staff was polite. Will I return? Probably - but not at peak hours. I have to admit that my opinion is colored by the facility that used to be in its place, which was more of a full-service place, where you were seated by a host, and your order was taken by a server, and that server brought your order out to you. Maybe more choices were offered, too. I really can't remember. It seemed that you got your food a little faster this time, I don't remember. I just don't like standing in line at a bar and putting my order in, then taking a number to put at my table. I guess I'll get used to it. I miss the conversations we used to have before with the servers before, but I suppose this is more efficient. At least they're not robots and drones--yet. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
Surprised at my dinner here tonight. Early Autumn and they had a delicious squash chicken flatbread we shared along with some boneless chicken wings. Great glass of Rose and nice beer options including Toppling Goliath. Booth was slightly worn but music was on low allowing for easy conversation. Good prices and definitely planning to return with our 92 yo mom and the just for ourselves too! Go check it out. This was quite different for me, order at the bar, take a number, and find a seat. We had breakfast and everything tasted good. Unfortunately, the multigrain toast, and berry Jam didn't agree with my fragile stomach. However, my son ate all of his food. I was very disappointed in the user friendly qoution for this restaurant. Start in the parking lot. 6+ spots for picking up food. Zero spots close to the restaurant for handicapped parking. I was there with my 2 sisters. All three of us are handicapped. We go in. Find your own table. Then go to the bar to order. Carry any beverages you want back to your table. 2 in my group could not do this. So I made 3 trips to the table. (3 waters and 3 wines. ) Absolutely crazy setup for an older crowd. Let alone the handicapped. Something needs to be looked at. Not disabled friendly in any way. I would like a response to this. It was a disturbing and such a hard situation. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
If you enjoy microwaved flavorless Food/ still wet/frozen and burned. This is your new place!! Staff slams the meal down and runs…… you should too.
