This place was great! I absolutely love the atmosphere. They have games you can borrow and play while you wait for your food (connect 4, trivia etc.). The food was awesome, something about those mashed potatoes, I'm telling you!! Thank you Shire Ale House for a fantastic experience! A hide-a-way that I've been sharing with everyone. Great food choices and drinks. Also, awesome place for a date night with that special someone... Once a month they hold a mystery dinner. You mush reserve this in advance as you will be a character in the play. Meal is included except drinks. Worth the 3 hours and time does fly having loads of fun with others. Any questions on what else they do. I would call. You won't be disappointed. Everything about this place was great. It is such a unique set up, being attached to the games store, and I love the atmosphere of it. All the staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend stopping here if you're in Houlton!

Love this place and the owners are amazing!!! Great atmosphere. I ordered my daughter the Dino nuggets and variety platter.. best option for a toddler and so much fun. Burgers were amazing and dessert was perfect. I highly recommend. Will be coming back! We had the pork schnitzel sandwich and it was very dry. We waited a long time for our meal even though there was no one else there at the time we ordered.
