Probably one of the best wood oven fired pizzas you can get in Cape Town. Also, amazing Sushi! They didn’t hold back on the amount of salmon at all, no fishy taste, very fresh fish. Took quite some time to get the food as it was busy, but highly recommend it. Nice with the fireplace on cold winter days Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person R 150–200 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
For casual dining, easy food such as sushi, pizza and burgers this is a really excellent venue. The space is fairly unique and quite cosy. There's a very relaxed vibe going on. The staff are very friendly. Yola tended to us and she was excellent. They have plenty of specials but even normally the prices are reasonable with quite large portions. This was the first time in a long time where I had a thick base pizza, the base was very fresh with tons of gluten. It really tasted great. We also had a sushi platter, the fish were fresh, rice was tasty and the presentation was amazing. Best of all there was some live saxophone covering pop songs. We'll be back, absolutely worth going to. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person R 150–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Margherita Pizza
Quite a nice little place recently opened in Muizenberg at Surfer's Corner. The food menu isn't very diverse, but the options they do have are good. I had a pizza and I really loved the base! The staff are friendly and their service is good overall. They have a few vegan options as well which is great. They also have milk alternatives so I got a Chai Latte with Oat milk and it was delicious! It was relatively quiet there in the week when we went but I am sure this place is quite busy on weekends. Nice place to go if you just want to have a few drinks as well, they have a nice selection of drinks to choose from. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person R 100–150
The shed... Where do I start.... Oh I know! I'll start by saying that the staff are extremely friendly and the food is ******* amazing! The sushi is super fresh, the burgers are juicy even when well done and it is really value for money, my partner and I both had sushi and big burgers, it was about R500 in total which is awesome, the atmosphere is super chill and inviting, we got seated as soon as we walked in. Thank you Shed for an amazing time❤️ Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 450–500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Mushroom Burger
Have been DYING to visit the Shed and we were not disappointed whatsoever!!!! 2 for 1 cocktails were great, not watered down as one sometimes expects from specials. Sushi starter and pizza mains, all PHENOMENAL ✨️💃🏻 It's not even 24h later and we have already booked a table for Tues night! Seelo (spelling), our waitress, was brilliant all every single recommendation was spot on 🙏🏼
Was looking forward to biting into one of their divine looking burgers, but sadly very underwhelming. More bun than burger patty and very dry. Didn’t look anything like the pics on the website. The pizza base was quite thin & soggy. The cocktails however were very good and so was the service. Will be back but only for a drink.

Such an vibey little hidden gem overlooking muizenburg beach. Ive only every received 10 star service from all the staff and are they are very friendly. The food was so delishous and best of all so many specials. Cant wait to be back again. My partner and I ordered the sushi platter for two, took a bit of time to prepare but it was delicious! We ordered some cocktails (two for one special and worth it) however, the pepperoni pizza wasn't worth the hype, the base was thin and soggy, the only thing nice about it unfortunately, was the crust. Went on a busy night, greeted with live saxophone that was great. The pizzas were the kind you relish after a long day, thin crust, packed with toppings and dripping with flavour. The Mojito on the other hand was a great disappointment, they just mixed it wrong, which was unfortunate, the Tom Collins next to us was great. Luck of the draw there. Service was alright given the packed timing, will definitely come again.
