Yum! This is just what we needed. I think we’ve now had every drink and dish on the menu in just a few visits and takeouts (just couldn’t stop!) and it’s all amazing, from crispy tofu starters and craft cocktails, to clever salads and hearty curries, to the perfect pie selection to finish it off. Get ready for a top tier dining experience, with an amazing menu. I never leave here disappointed or hungry!!! We eat here once a week! My son and I walked in here on the off chance they had salted koala on the menu. What we found was a stunning location, cool vibe and outstanding food by a highly experienced and well travelled Aussie chef. We ate here twice during our week stay at Playa Iguana. Can't go wrong. My favourite restaurant we ate at in Iguana! The menu had unique dishes and amazing flavours. We tried the Mahi burger and a new beef curry the server recommended and both were delicious and filling! Had a great time at The Salty Koala in Hacienda Iguana. The homemade dumplings were bomb, and the butter chicken curry was on point. The Margarita was so good had to double down and get 2. Wow! Had our first meal at Salty Koala last night and cannot recommend this place enough. The meals and depth, nuance, and expertise of flavour were amazing. The atmosphere is so beautiful and relaxing. As an extra bonus, the staff is super attentive and provide great recommendations. Plus, the very friendly head chef and owner came out to great us and offer recommendations as well. We cannot wait to come back! Well done Salty Koala, well done. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I love the vibe, the food and the service. Huge fan of their dumplings, sticky tofu and really fresh bahn mi. My son loves the fish fingers on the kids options, actually ordered 2 last time! Love to get a beer at the bar while enjoying that oasis by the pool vibe. So happy this opened in Iguana, we needed something like this! Have eaten here several times now and all around 10 stars. Margaritas are unreal and every meal on the menu has completely blown me away. Staff and owner goes over and above with their kindness and service. Highly recommend!!!!
