About
A lot of people point out that waiters serve good lobster sandwiches, salads and grilled sandwiches here. Taste tasty pancakes, French toasts and raisin toasts to form your opinion about this cafe. Great coffee is worth a try here. The warm atmosphere of The Round Hearth Cafe and Market Place makes customers feel relaxed and have a good time. The designer created a fancy fireplace. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, this place deserved 4.6.

Immaculate vibe. Great food
I had breakfast here and It was by far the best experience I’ve had since visiting Stowe. My husband was in the mountains skiing. Me and my 3 month old came here to get out of the weather and me to get a bite to eat. Service was fantastic! And all the sitting areas were comfy by the fire. It was not too crowded so we were able to really take our time and enjoy the simplicity of the place. Thanks for having us!

I haven't been here since high school which has been about 20 years ago.. went this past week and they have amazing breakfast and the prices are great! Service was amazing. My favorite is their Round fireplace with the hand painted hood of Stowe . Highly recommend the chocolate chip pancakes , best I've had !
One of the coolest little cafes I’ve ever been to. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is something you absolutely need to experience for yourself! It seems they also have rooms for rent upstairs too at a very reasonable rate.
Felt happy just by walking into this place. Love the open yet closed atmosphere. Great service. French toast was amazing + perfectly cooked. Will be coming again.

The atmosphere was cozy and rustic. I loved the bench seating around the central fire pit which was not at all smokey for indoors and a welcome reprieve from the cold rain. The breakfast potatoes were deliciously crispy. The lobster roll good but not special (meat piled on a piece of bread). The service is fast food style in that you place your order at the counter, wait until buzzed, then pick it up and seat yourself. That's all fine by me EXCEPT when paying it automatically asks for a tip. I'm a little irked by this growing trend. I don't know the service or what that entails, so I always put $0 then leave cash on the table as I deem appropriate. In this case I did all the work. No one brought me anything. The people at the counter were polite and friendly. I left $5 since someone has to clear tables.
Homey, warm and such a quaint spot! I got the BLT which was really good, I got the potatoes. The flavor was there for the potatoes but they were cold & a little hard. My husband got the pastrami sandwich, it was so good! The coffee was amazing and the vibes were perfect. Highly recommended!

Stumbled upon this absolute gem after a hike in nearby Smuggler's Notch and wow what a find!! Best latte ever, great food, coziest vibes, local art, and friendly service! And it's historic too - the cafe used to be a ski dorm for youth groups but has since been converted into the adorable cafe it is today, as well as a huge shop with antiques and also where local artists showcase their works! ||This place is so immediately welcoming - surrounded by fall foliage and all the beauty of a New England state park - and when you walk in, you're instantly greeted with cozy farm decor and a giant decorative fire pit as the centerpiece of the dining experience. ||Staff are all friendly and happy to chat. They have a decent menu of sweet and savory items and everything is homemade. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to pick up your food when ready - so no table service but definitely wasn't an issue for me. They have tons of coffee flavors and other drinks. I started with a toasted marshmallow latte bc I can't resist anything marshmallow and it truly was the BEST I ever had!! ||For my lunch I got a cup of their soup of the day - lentil - and a pulled pork sandwich. That lentil soup was amazing - even better than my own version I make!! I'll definitely be trying to recreate this recipe at home now. The pulled pork sandwich was also excellent. The pork was so tender, lots of coleslaw on nicely toasted bread and delicious sauce - all fantastic. ||The rest of the space is filled with items and pieces of art from local vendors and artists so be sure to browse before you leave. I found so much that I loved! My only regret was I didn't have enough room in my suitcase haha! They also have some rooms for rent onsite via Airbnb.||Prices are reasonable here and they have tons of inside seating, as well as a large lawn and outdoor space with lots of seating there as well. Plenty of parking here. There are small mountains across the street that were so full of colorful fall foliage on my visit (early October) - just a splendid place all around. Highly recommend!
