This place is in a historic building. It has a cool ambiance but the room way in the back is humid and has a funny smelly smell. We were going to be sitting there but my husband and I quickly asked for different seating and we were sat in the middle room which had much better ventilation and was dry. The food was delicious. The spinach and artichoke dip could have been better. I didn’t like that I had to pay an extra $1.50 for fruit on my French toast and extra $2.00 for a scoop of cream. My server just asked if I wanted fruit and cream but my husband’s waffle came with it included. I’m also used to having powdered sugar on my French toast. The food in this place is really good; I liked the beer-battered asparagus, the biscuit, and the gravy. The brewhouse burger was good; just the jam tasted more like BBQ, and the bread pudding was really good. The place in a historic building looks so nice, and the customer service is great.
