Lovely restaurant with access to a pool and play area for kids. The pool side also has high chairs and desk so drinks and food can be taken by the pool. They have the best pizza's and their kiddies menu is versatile for picky eaters. They lacked a little on their wine list but everything else was readily available and delicious. I'm definitely going back there soon

We spent 3 nights at the boutique hotel, absolutely tranquil setting. We were treated like VIPs upon arrival and throughout our stay. We eat only Halaal so the restaurant used our own untensils to make our breakfasts, which were absolutely delicious. The Quad bikes were amazing through the forest trails. We unfortunately could not do the river rafting due to time constraints. Well done to Moosa Ntimba the owner and his team for an absolutely memorable and wonderful weekend, Danys, Elias, Daphne, Winnie,Rudolph and the rest of the wonderful ladies. This place is really the place to unwind and recharge. We were checked on constantly and this made the experience out of the ordinary
Will definitely recommend.

This place used to have the best Resturant on R536. They are not serious about food at all. It's very disappointing to drive on potholes and get bad menu. Get a chef or someone to help with your menu, it's bad

The Reserve Boutique Hotel takes boutique hotels to a whole new level, albeit not in the way you'd expect. It manages to check all the boxes for having no atmosphere, waiters lacking proper education, serving bad food, and even getting your order completely wrong. Oh, and let's not even get started on the slow service. I mean, seriously, when you're the only people in a restaurant, you'd think they'd have the omelettes ready in less than 40 minutes. We were practically hosting a marathon just waiting for our food!
To add insult to injury, we had to venture out and fetch our own napkins because apparently, that's not part of their job description. And let's not forget the joy of receiving the wrong orders. It's like a game of culinary roulette, where you never know what you're going to get. Picture this: a hollow, noisy food hall with the ambiance of a library during finals week. Such an enchanting dining experience, right?
But here's a little piece of advice for the hotel manager who occasionally strolls around the food hall: perhaps, just maybe, if she took the time to ask the only occupied table out of the thirty available ones (now it makes sense, doesn't it?), she might discover that things aren't exactly hunky-dory. I mean, it's not rocket science to figure out that something is amiss when your only patrons are looking more frustrated than a toddler on a sugar-free diet.
In summary, my apologies, but this place needs a significant amount of work. Maybe they should consider investing in a functioning time machine to bring them up to speed with the rest of the hospitality industry.

The Reserve is such a beautiful place, has great atmosphere and is very private. They allow all age groups so families will be easily accommodated. Menus are kids friendly.
I enjoyed my time there. My friends enjoyed their food except me as my food was dry and wasn't given attention when I spoke up about it.
Overall great experience, I will go try it out again hoping for better results with the food.
