They offer valet parking but we were able to find a spot without any issues, we got a table without any wait and without a reservation. It’s beautifully decorated, plenty of sitting and great atmosphere. We mentioned our waiter that we were celebrating our anniversary but that didn’t make any difference in our service for the night. Lobster bisque was delicious, buttery and flavorful. We also got the Oysters Rockefeller but the flavor was lost on the amount of cheese that they were covered with. Pork chop wasn’t memorable and the grilled Texas redfish was a decent meal. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. It was a good dinner but the experience wasn’t memorable and quite underwhelming, especially for an anniversary celebration. We had a wonderful experience here. The service was attentive and friendly. Oysters (Rockefeller & fried), steak tartare, Oscar style filet, and lamb rack were all delicious. We both ended up with mild food poisoning. Perhaps the oysters and beef for raw consumption should have been more judiciously sourced, but the preparation was amazing. I can honestly say the food poisoning was worth it. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Little slow this go around but as always, the food was great. They changed the braised beef rib recipe, the original recipe was better (perfect!) but the new recipe is still good. New Mexican Fried Chicken was definitely worth the try. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
We had an awful experience here. This restaurant would not accommodate to the basic needs of our party and we were greeted by our waiter who immediately complained about the chair my brother chose to sit in as he was “too big” to be sitting in that location. The waiter had a negative attitude towards our party the whole time, and it ruined the ambiance of the restaurant. The food was fair, but definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend this place, and my family and I will definitely not be back.

Went here for a celebration. Got a taste of almost every sample. It was a tad dark but it was fine as it was part of the ambiance. Amazing food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chocolate Mousse Cake
Perfectly flavored and cooked salmon. Loved the costa salad...took the remaining home to enjoy again. Kentucky mule cocktail was excellent. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Came to town on business was able to get a seat. Had outstanding service from Joseph and a very nice dinner. I went with the Sirloin with Shrimp Beurre Monte topper. We shared their generous sides with the table and got the Bacon Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes, and the Brussel Sprouts. I was very impressed with the drink selection. One of the coolest things I've seen is their bourbon bracket game they play. They match various whiskey's against each other and the selection costs $12 to play and you get two of the current "teams" playing. You tell the waiter which you like better, and place your vote. Once you vote, they tell you which you got and the winner moves on to the next round the following week or bracket. Super fun, and had some great new whiskeys I hadn't tried before. Great food, cool restaurant, and great service. What more do you want! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
Had a fantastic first experience at Republic. Grey was our waiter and did not disappoint in any way. We lump crab cakes and the bacon for appetizers. I had the prime rib eye and my wife had the chicken fried fillet. After dinner Grey got us a spot at the bar and we spent the evening tasting a few different bourbons out of their Eminence collection . Will definitely be one of our favourite new spots! Oh my what can I say!?!? This was hands down the best experience I have ever had in BCS. Everything was absolutely on point. Steaks cooked perfectly, delicious sides, appetizers were delightful, dessert was phenomenal and cocktails were amazing. The service was so smooth and on point I didn't want to leave!! I can't imagine this place getting anything but 5+ stars. If you're into 5 star dining and you haven't been to Republic you have missed the train good friend!! Was absolutely amazed with just about everything. The bacon appetizer was insanely good. The steak was to die for…the wedge salad was delicious. Overall great atmosphere and staff was prompt, polite and I felt they truly cared about our experience. I would definitely go back and I would highly recommend it. It is a great date night, night before/after A&M games. Love it!!! Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
