The food and service are awesome today, just like it was back in the 80s when I used to go. Moved away years ago and recently moved back and couldn't wait to have a steak sandwich and hamburger! Hands down, it's the best hamburger. EVER. ANYWHERE. BE careful how you tell em to cook it. But really, the best hamburger and the potato salad is pretty freaking good too. As most of the other posts say, you have to adjust your vision when you walk in because it's lit by a few lights behind the bar and candles on every table. My bf had the rib-eye steak sandwich and I had the "Coast's Best Burger" and we both enjoyed them. He said his steak was cooked perfectly and was super juicy. My burger had a nice sear on the edges, a smoky taste and was cooked to perfection. The bartender Erin was attentive, very nice and always made sure we didn't have a mouth full of food when she would check on us. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a great burger or steak sandwich and a bar where you feel like you're not a newbie even though you might be. Also, this establishment is right by Keesler Air Force Base so if there are service members in there while you are, make sure to buy them a drink and then thank them for their service and your freedom. Hands down the best burger I have EVER had. Service was phenomenal and the cook was probably the best grill cook I have ever seen. I’ve heard a lot about this place and wanted to check it out myself. Yes it is a bar. But apparently it is well known for its burgers and yes they are very good. There is plenty of seating and yes, even though the light is not bright… in some of the areas of the bar, you can sit at the bar itself and watch them grill your food. The burgers are definitely fresh no frozen patties here. Also had a chicken salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly. It is very open and airy, staff was wonderful it was not smoky. And yes, they have popcorn, which apparently the regulars come in the back door and grab a boat of it before they sit down. They will keep your glass of soda full. It was quite busy at lunch, but that is expected from the quality of the food and service. Bathrooms were clean, parking lot was clean. It was a very enjoyable lunch. So yes, your eyes have to adjust because of the ambiance. I recommend their burger to any and everyone in the area. A server from a prestige steakhouse (in a casino resort) recommended this place. I would hug him if I could because it is definitely one of the best burgers we have ever had. A local told us about this place. We knew it was going to be DARK going in. Takes a few minutes to adjust your eyes 👀 to the dark. Expect an old fashioned jukebox and a smoke filled room. ABSOLUTELY the BEST burger 🍔 and outstanding ribeye steak sandwich. The burgers and steak sandwich were recommended to us by many people but we didn't stay. It was super dark in there .....very DARK. And many customers smoking....which is fine if it's your thing but it's not mine. It was a little overpowering so we left. The burgers smelled amazing as we watched!

I was told about this place by some locals so I had to check it out. Excellent old school bar/lounge with ice cold beer, and some of the best burgers around! I love the big comfy bar seats, and the dark ambiance in this place. It’s very dark inside and takes your eyes a few minutes to adjust once you walk inside. The bartenders were very friendly with attentive service. Good prices on the food and drinks too. Perfect little bar to have a drink at in the Biloxi area. If you don’t like cigarette smoke this probably won’t be the place for you though.
