First time trying poke, and I have to say I enjoyed it. The place is very small, basically the size of a shack. The place has some Hawaian decorations, nothing fancy, but it's cool. The people were very nice and helpful when trying to figure out what I wanted. The food tasted fresh for a seafood place in the middle of ILLINOIS. It's a nice, healthier option (depending on what you ordered). I hope it does well and I plan to go back. The couple of times I've been there, I was their only customer. Absolutely great! Amazing food. I was town for a science competition and we went out to dinner. We got there after they closed, but they still served all 8 of us. Very chill atmosphere, reminds me of a nice trip back to India and if I'm in the area, I will definitely return! Lots of vegan options too. Poke Shack is very good! I had the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl for lunch. The chicken had light teriyaki flavor and no bad pieces on a large bed of white rice. Decent portions for a fair price. You can choose your own dipping sauces. They have Apple pay. Short wait for food. You can dine in but only a few window seats. Most people get take out. The restaurant can be hard to find. Located near the highway and hotel. Not a ton of parking but at least its free. They do not have a drive thru. I can't wait to try other menu options! Absolutely love Poke Shack! The foods are so fresh and well prepared. I’m so glad we have this hidden gem in the C-U area. The price is reasonable, and the portion is fulfilling. Would love to come back for their curry and bowls. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
This was the best poke I've had in a long time. The seafood and other ingredients were so fresh and there were lots of options that allowed my mom and me to customize our bowls to our liking (i.e. Mild toppings for her, spicy for me). The service was friendly and fast and I appreciated the options to pick up as much pickled ginger and sushi sauce as I wanted with individual packaged portions by the pick-up counter. I highly recommend stopping by here! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Poke
Brought me back to Oahu with the tuna bowl and spam musubi. Ahi tasted fresh with great color and firmness. Presentation was superb. Service was super friendly and got complimentary miso soup; who doesn't love free food! 4 out of 5 as over twenty bucks for one person may be out of people's price range for lunch. Would reccomend to others! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

Catered poke bowls for a work event, and every single person asked where I got them from because they were so GOOD! The best customer experience I've had and very accommodating of the variety of dietary restrictions. Will def have it again :) Food: 5 Service: 5

On March 31st around 5pm, I visited the Fields Location in Champaign to purchase my son and I combo sushi bowls. I love them and wanted my son (who also loves sushi) to try it out. After getting home I noticed the spicy tuna AND smoked salmon were left out of my bowl and the smoked salmon was left out of my son's bowl. I contacted the store and male answered and after voicing my issues he stated he did hear they ran out of smoked salmon. He then put a woman on the phone who apologized and gave me the options of coming back to the store to get the protein that was left out or to have my 2 bowls replaced at a different time. I chose to have my two bowls replaced and she told me she would write my name down with what was credited to me. I called today and told they have no record or notation of any of this. I was placed on a long hold and then had to be called back after an investigation was done. When I was contacted back, the woman on the phone was short with me telling me she has no time to investigate and that she would give me one of my bowls but not the other then hung up on me during the call. This is a terrible way to operate. I was initially met with understanding and great customer service. All of that was tarnished by the rude employee who didn't have time for me. I was, admittedly, wronged and now nothing will be rectified. I have referred so many people to this place from my coworkers, family, and even strangers. Even today, my coworkers and I were dancing around about it being a Poke Shack day for us but this happened. I know quality food. I'm willing to spend good money for that food. I pride myself on patronizing local businesses. However I will not accept poor customer service and rude employees. I cannot do business with a place that chooses to cast aside long term customer to chase down passersby for a lunch special. I won't return and I will let my friends know how you operate. It’s amazingly good. I got the Big Kahuna Bowl and added an extra scoop of salmon.

I’ll give 2 for now and hopefully I’ll update to higher when I try the poke. I really wanted this to be a good review. I love Hawaiian barbecue from living in San Francisco and there is nothing like that here, there are so many places there that are hole in the walls but the food is absolutely delicious. This place isn’t even close, even without comparing it to the other places, the food is just bad. I ordered once when they first opened, and I gave her another shot tonight because it had been a while. The short ribs, once again, taste almost rancid, they are not edible. Maybe people in the area I don’t know, but this is not how Hawaiian take out macaroni salad should taste, this is not how anything should taste. Hawaiian macaroni salad is one of the best fast food sides you could ever ask for, definitely put it on your to eat list whenever you travel, just not here. Two stars because at least the loco mocha was edible. I really hope that one day they get new cooks or new management or some thing, I would really love some decent Hawaiian take out in the area.
