Definitely recommend and can't wait to go back and try out more. We had the White Pizza with garlic knots. The garlic knots weren't nothing too special but the pizza was great. The service was nice and friendly. Although we did go there to try their Detroit style but they were completely out of dough to make'em. Absolutely horrible experience at the Downtown location. Arrived at 5pm on a Sunday and it took over an hour for the appetizer to arrive. We ended up having to get the pizza to go as we had our child with us and it did not arrive until after 6:30. Staff was not apologetic and avoided our table. Once we got the pizza home, it had no flavor and didn't even resemble the pizza we normally order. As someone who grew up going to pizza joint, I am extremely disappointed. This was a horrible experience. We arrived Sat at noon and it took over an hour to get our order of 3 pizzas to the table. It wasn't busy at all. Pizza was hot from the oven and mediocre at best. Crust was hard and had very little flavor. The location and atmosphere is good, salad was good. They just need to work on their recipe and service quality. I don’t know what happened since the last time I ate here and it has been at least a year but wow. Not only was the price double why it was a few years ago but the quality was so sad. This place has lost its damn mind. Ordered a single slice of pepperoni and just can’t say how disappointed I was when I opened this box and saw pizza that made me think Ashton Kutcher was going to pop out of the bushes. I used to love the pizza here and now it seems like they should change the name from “Pizza Joint” to “Gas Station Pizza Joint”.
