Got a coffee and sandwich while I worked on my computer for a few hours. Food and coffee were great and the portion size was very generous! I got the Vannerson sandwich on Rosemary bread and added bacon. The baked goods looked great as well. What a cute spot! Loved the inside decor, and the various options for seating. They had about 10 different ways to make coffee, but then had several specials and homemade syrups and other things to mix in to probably be able to make hundreds or over a thousand (there’s probably some math I’m missing here, but you get the point) different drinks. I really enjoyed The Diana, personally. Plus, the service was quick, efficient, and kind! Would definitely return again (soon!) Nice spot, good coffee. It's in the old Montgomery building downtown so it's a bit pricey for what's on the menu I think. Inside is tiny and if it is busy, like more than five people inside, you will have to sit in the buildings hallway. Really loud out there because of high ceilings and all tile floor. The seating is not very comfy out in the hall. There's a bathroom all the way down the hall around the corner and a few other businesses, but it didn't look very busy. Prolly cos the parking situation is not great. It's right on the corner of a busy intersection and navigating is tricky with limited spots in the back of the building for any spots to park. They have a parking garage which is a little longer walk. If you are just looking to get a nice cup of coffee. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Excellent 3rd wave espresso roast, high quality & balanced roast, and the barista pulled a spot-on cortado. As good as most of what you'll find in SF or NY. Great work, Spartanburg!
The art deco atmosphere gives you a shot of nostalgia with some fantastic menu options. Love it! From the website: "The Montgomery Building was built in 1925 and is an iconic piece of Spartanburg’s rich history. When the opportunity came knocking to put a shop in the Montgomery Building we jumped at the opportunity but we knew that we had to give Spartanburg something a little different from the Little River Coffee Bar. We chose the name ‘Pharmacy’ based off of the building’s history and the pharmacy soda counter culture of the time..."

This place is a GEM! I’ve been lucky enough to travel to coffee shops all across the country and this one is one of my favorites! I was in “The Burg” for work for 2 weeks, the staff was super welcoming, the coffee & food/baked good were great and the atmosphere was perfect for working. Just GO, You won’t be disappointed! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10
4.0 | coffee shop gem in Spartanburg. rlly enjoyed this place and the only gripe is they don’t have a standard size cappuccino- 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk / 1/3 foam. a cappuccino is my pretentious go-to to see if a coffee shop knows their chops lol. so sorry, they didn’t pass. lol. howeverrrr, I still give high ratings because their cortado was rlly good and dialed in, and their seasonal drink the “storm” one, with earl grey foam, rlly clever and satisfying. they have some pretty good parties as well, and the space is super cute and incorporated with natural light. what more do you need out of a coffee shop?
