About
Eating perfectly cooked hamburgers, crispy chicken sandwiches and chicken wings is a pleasant experience here. It's worth coming to this bar because of tasty bread pudding and good fruitcake. This place is known for delicious draft beer, wine or craft beer. Take your chance to taste great coffee. The warm atmosphere of The People's Pub makes customers feel relaxed and have a good time. Many visitors consider the staff professional. The spectacular service is something these restaurateurs care about. Here you will pay attractive prices. Also, the decor is terrific. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, this place deserved 4.6.

Mid-scale rating, the People's Pub, with an accent on beer and other alcoholic drinks I give 4 stars. Room fir some improvements. My burger was made to perfection. The fries were a bit dry, but at least they were made on site. My daughter's fries were served with 3 sauces. And while she was waiting, she was watching/observing the kitchen staff preparing plates. She was engaged in conversation and treated to a few "extras" which she was happy about. Our server had a great sense of humour, albeit with a bit of flare. He walked with a bit of authority, and I mistook him for the owner. Overall a much nicer ambiance and character than the Philmont Local, and some peculiarly named menu and brew items. I would like to go again so I can aim for a 5 star rating. One off-putting ditty was that when a french fry dropped off my daughter's pile onto the table, our server imnediately scooped it up and tossed it in his mouth and winked at me and smiled. Humourous, yes, but not entirely appropriate. A little too aggressive with refilling our waters as well... if you are going to leave our refill water on the table, let the customer handle refills. This is constructive criticism, meant to be noted. Thus the 4 stars. Great place for families and couples, reservations or not. I would recommend. *thumbs up* Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

UPDATE: the owner personally reached out with a long, down to earth email to rectify the situation and explain things a bit. He was very respectful and I appreciate that, it’s better than most businesses. 4 little shrimp and with no scallions but they are mentioned on the menu, for $15. I would not have paid that much if I knew it was so little. $30 For steak and absolutely no seasonings or salt, but it was cooked exactly how I asked, rare, so I guess it wasn’t all bad. Everything else like house sauces fries rangoons *almost* made my $100 dinner kinda worth it. Kinda disappointed though still for the price. Maybe just a busy off day.
Really loved this spot - food was terrific with cauliflower starter with spicy sauce and bacon that was to die for. Fish sandwich and Mahi Mahi was great. Nice beer selection including some good VT beers and my wife enjoyed the quart-size mason jar of tasty sangria. Sit across from the open kitchen for a great view of all the incredible food getting served. Great music as well. Definitely a good evening and good to be had here!

The skinny cook from the back is the most arrogant, drunk douche bag I have ever met the way he criticizes people and thinks he is the boss in charge when nobody has done anything wrong. True disappointment. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
The servers are kind and friendly. Always love the food so much. Fresh and made right in front of you. I love the environment as well. The only wish that they would start making mocktails and carrying some NA beverages. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We dine there once a week during our summer vacation. It is simply the best restaurant in the Berkshires. The food is imaginative and the service is welcoming (unlike many , many places in the Berkshires). Highly recommended by the Holtz Family. Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My Ahi Tuna was perfect. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great veggie burger and fries. One of the few bars in the U.S. without a freaking TV. Great beer choices. Not cheap. But I keep going back.
Pub fare on Main Street. Stop by this beautiful bar with a view of main street, enjoy a drink, listen to live music. Kitchen staff works 💪 so amazing to watch them put the food together. Kid friendly fare. Delicious grown up non alcoholic drinks, too,!
