Amazing local food and excellent service from the owner "Sissi". The price are very honest (40EC$/person) for a full meal with a lot of high quality and tasty food. I'll recommend this typical restaurant to evryone visiting Vieux-Fort.
Once again, The Orbit does NOT disappoint! Everything on the menu is made to perfection. Excellent food, impeccable service, always checking in and making sure everything is content. A must go to restaurant for anyone traveling in Vieux Fort.
Great caribbean food served in local ambiance. The service is very nice and fast. Meals are tasty and quite cheap. If you are really hungry order two plates, because portions aren't that big.
If your looking for amazing authentic local food made with REAL love, then I HIGHLY recommend this place to EVERYONE!!! They were SO over the top nice and insanely helpful and informative. They not only cooked us secret recipe dishes, they got a Cha Cha band to come play for us one night and even tried to bring food to us at the airport on our last day because we didn't have time to stop by beforehand. Unfortunately the cell service isn't top notch so we got the missed call too late. Please give this wonderful woman ALL of your money and then send your friend to do the same! She deserves it all! Mrs CiCi FOREVER!
Had a 6am flight from Toronto and didn't have any food one could classify as a meal till we reached St. Lucia around 5pmish. I told my pick-up driver that I wanted something as ethnic, earthy and Carribean as Vieux Fort provides. Without hesitation, he drove me straight to the Orbit which was under 10mins from Hewanorra.
The surrounding was clean, smallish, with a clusters of chairs and tables that formed a dining area. Unbearably, I had a malt whilst waiting for my food which was whisked out(5-8mins) of a backroom kitchen, sealed out of view by a light door, glazed over with patina.
Thick slab of tuna in some kind of vegetable gravy, ground provisions comprising of boiled breadfruit, yam, and the ever-present 'food'(boiled dough) and a fresh garden salad tucked on the side of a considerable plate called for no invitation. I went in.
I could easily have had two of those servings. Back on my way to the airport, enroute to Canada, I visited the Orbit again with a dear friend. She agreed with my estimation. For you hungry revellers out there, I rest my case.
