We went there on a Tuesday night. There was a hockey game and it was crowded. You can sit anywhere in the bar side so we sat although it was not cleaned yet. We waited and waited and saw a few servers pass our table but no one cleaned/cleared it. 5 minutes or so has passed and a server asked us if we there to watch the game. I replied no but to have dinner. We waited again. After a few minutes we decided to just sit on the bar. I saw a couple of customers sit on the table and wiped the table themselves seeing no one is cleaning it. Food was good. Standard sushi, cheese burger was cooked medium as I requested, chicken tenders were huge and crispy, beef and barley soup was hearty and the drinks were excellent. The guests can be laud and rowdy as in any bar on a game night but they know when to stop serving when the guest starts to slur or become unruly. I walked in after a 13.5 hour work day and was craving a steak! I walked in and was told to help myself to a high top. I sat for a moment, was seen by a male waiter who walked over to a section of workers sitting, congregated in one area. This male got the attention of someone and nodded my way saying, "you have a table". Statement was met with a facial expression that told me to *eff off (and a female voice complaining quietly, but not quietly enough) ... so I got up and spoke to the entire section stating, "I won't stay, but may I please order take out?" I was, again, met with facial expressions and an attitude of silence. *if I wasn't so darn hungry, I would have left* Luckily, there was someone at the "take out" register who took my order. I tipped him $10 and thanked him for not making me feel any more uncomfortable. I used to love it here and was even a regular at one time...but working 3 jobs, when do I have a chance or the energy to sit to eat?! Needless to say I needed a moment to "chill"....I am not sure if I'll come back after tonight. I can't begin to tell you how uncomfortable I felt. This place is always packed with their own sushi bar. Food and drink are good but really not anything to wax poetic about. I love this place, I really do. The sushi is delicious. The food is REALLY good. And the drinks are great too. They are not one of the cheap places…meaning they will give you your monies worth. However, the wait for the food here has just gotten really bad. Don’t come here for a quick bite. You will be waiting around 20-30 mins for your order to come out. Otherwise this is a great place. After hours being spend at work, my coworkers and I wanted something to eat and The Office is always recommended by other staff, so we all agreed on getting sushi. We had ordered through door dash and when we received our meal I was extremely dissatisfied with what we had gotten. Although our order was put through incorrectly we received ONE piece of a shrimp tempura for 8 dollars!! The disappointment of it all was that not only did I pay for one piece but I could not eat it because of the fact that it was rubbery and so was the fish in the sushi!! I had talked to the general manager on the phone and he said the reason for it being 8 dollars was because of the “high quality shrimp” they supposedly use. I don’t mind paying for ONE good piece but for that, no. Friendly staff, but semi-slow service. I have eaten here many times. Prime Rib, Steaks, and Burgers are great. Salads are also colossal. I ordered outside my comfort zone and tried the scallops. I honestly had great expectations and they were crushed. There were many things that contributed to this being a 2 star review but the #1 thing was the food. I ordered chicken parmigiana with linguine. A classic dish, I thought was impossible to mess up, until now. The breaded chicken was not fresh, definitely came from a frozen bag. It was dry and stiff. Because the pasta was so wet, the noodles were sitting in a pool of red water & the sauce would not stick to the noodles. The pasta also tasted like it was pre-made and just sitting around. Was there again for sushi and it did not disappoint! I mean I love a good burger here but also the sushi is always great. Love the Spicy Mayo that comes with Shumai and then The Monkey Roll with crab meat on top, the Kamikaze roll and 3 brothers roll it’s all so good. My husband and I stopped in after the Halloween parade on 10-31-23 and we asked for two draft beers, we were charged $9.60 for each draft beer a total of $19.20. I I mentioned to the bartender that we gave him a $20.00 and he gave us back $.80 he said the beer being draft beer cost nine dollars and change we were Ripped Off. Obviously, this is the way they make their millions. We’ve been customers for a long time and never had anything like this happen to us. Word of mouth is the best advertisement. I heard good things about this place so we decided to give it a try. My boyfriend & I ordered prime rib. We both had a few bites and realized it was really chewy and had no flavor so we decided to give it to our dogs. The next day BOTH of our dogs had projectile vomiting and diarrhea. Literally wouldn’t even give this food to my dogs!!! Also not to mention the 5-6 teenage employees standing at the host stand that couldn’t bother to provide any customer service because they were too busy texting on their phones and talking to each other.
