My first time here, I like the place but if you want to sit along the lake you need a reservation. Food was ok,I ordered the pumpkin pancakes I was expecting more flavor but not what I expected didn't taste much like pumpkin my friend ordered the chorizo omelette, she liked it. Water is 9.00 for what the food is prices are too expensive for my taste. I ordered a "Pina colada" and was chocked when I got my drink. I will try to visit this place during happy hour or lunch/dinner time, breakfast I am not happy with what I got. Also you need to pay for valet which is ridiculous because parking lot is so small so they might just say they charge for parking which will be more believable than a "valet". RECOMMENDED!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! I don’t know how to express my gratitude to their staff and manager. We had a gender reveal party there and they were sooo kind. We also played our music and started dancing after the party over there and they were so cool with that. FOOD their food was so amazing, for a brunch specially, the Italian omelet was so good and we are so happy we chose there for the party. They have parking and the environment was fabulous. Their bathroom also was so clean.

This place is beyond beautiful, delicious food with aesthetically pleasing views. Food is bit pricey $30-50 but you’re paying for a lovely experience. Nice place for a date or celebration. I’d give them 5 stars if they had better music, good music would have made all the difference. We were also served coffee in to go cups which was odd for being an upscale restaurant in Encino. Overall nice experience, would definitely come back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
I gave 3 stars to the food but we will never know. Of course it looked much better in pictures but that's a given. Once there, it kind of looks like a bar on Venice, CA waterfront. We got there for a romantic brunch last Sunday. The hostess didn't acknowledge our presence and we were right in front of her, proceeded to argue with a waiter about table allocation and then eventually sit us. I have been a waiter, the restaurant wasn't busy but once i opened the menu... well if you charge 20 dollars for an omelette every aspect of the restaurant needs to reflect the overcharge. We felt the grass less patio and sport bar style tables didn't so we left before ordering. I do believe you need to give restaurants a chance but 20 dollars for an omelette needs to be justified with impeccable service and atmosphere from start to end. It can't be the new price of mediocrity. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Underwhelmed with my meal at The Oaks at Lakeside. Had caesar salad that was wilted, warm and bland. Tried the cauliflower bravas but wasn't blown away, was just battered cauliflower. Did have the chocolate bread pudding a la mode which was pretty tasty. They did have a decent wine and cocktail selection. Best part was the atmosphere, as it sits along a pond/lake that has a fountain in the center. It was a pretty view and great ambiance. Would potentially return for a main course meal as it would be a better judgment of their overall food quality. Server was nice and attentive. Great food, lovely atmosphere, and excellent service! When I went I had left a very large tip by accident, and they called me and reimbursed me for what I hadn't meant to leave. Their dessert selection is fantastic as well. I highly recommend this restaurant! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
