First thing that struck me was the spot on design and art, then the the delicious pizza and beer. Perfect lunch
The only authentic sourdough pizza’s in town with delicious generous toppings! Well worth a visit!
We were driving from Cape Town to George, and wanted to stop for a quick pizza. Saw some pictures of the pizza, and read some reviews so was pretty excited. Unfortunately the dough was really undercooked and so the pizza experience was disappointing.
Welcomed by a roaring pizza fire and two giant ‘puppies’. Enjoyed a beer tasting out on the stoep in the early winter morning sun. Sadly no porter thanks to load-shedding. A fun little stop while exploring the town.
Love love love. Cool beer tasting. Excellent wood-fired sourdough pizzas. Chewy dough with a crisp base and generous toppings. Probably the best food in Barrydale 💕 Worth a stop.

My husband and daughter loved the hot chocolate. We had the Salami and Green Fig pizzas, which were very nice. The beer and wine is cold.

My first attempt at tasting beer! Might even do it again. I liked the vibe and this place will be a nice venue for a night out they serve pizzas etc.
A fantastic place for a stop on the r62. They have a few different home brewed beers at reasonable prices and when we where there The mystic overlander had set up wood fired pizza which was fantastic. There is plenty parking right in front.
What a fantastic oasis along the tourist route back to Cape Town. After a long two days in a 10-person tour bus, we snuck away from the herd and were rewarded with an amazing pizza, handcrafted salad, tasty craft beer and fine selection of wine. We sat on the porch with another couple and listened to one of the locals spin vinyl records from years past. Definitely worth adding to your trip - did I mention yet that the pizza with pulled pork was absolutely fabulous??
We stopped by Makers Craft and each of us has tasty brews. I had the blond ale, my wife the brown, and we would have both of these beers again. The owner was friendly and let us order even though he was getting ready to close.
